First off, the formatted way of playing is completely messed up and should never have happened. Anyways, the strategy here uses Neo3 Entei and Fossil Moltres. It requires a fair amount of luck, but what deck doesn't? The concept is simple enough: get a Moltres out, place down Entei who builds up to 5 additional energy on Moltres, and Wildfire it all on the following turn. This strategy is extremely effective againt decks that eat themselves, even more so because such decks usually include only a few essential cards for the deck. When Wildfiring 7 cards on turn 2, you have a pretty good chance of discarding, say, 1 or more of your opponent's darkness energy (which makes ScooterX's Sneasel harmless) which may screw him so badly that he cannot recover against your successive Wildfiring. A deck would consist of nearly all Fire energy, and Entei and Moltres of course, but other add ins might be Nightly Garbage Run (so you don't deck yourself before decking your opponent), Scoop Up (so you can use Entei's Pokemon Power again), and possibly something good that does not directly fit the theme of this deck (Energy Removal, Gust of Wind, etc.). Be warned not to put in too much stuff in or you'll end up discarding cards rather than attaching energy with the pokemon power, and will ultimately lose by decking yourself. I am a deck mechanic of sorts and would love to see some decks to tweak. I am a very hardcore gamer when it comes down to playing by the rules. I know what cards say (that is, if it is in English, etc.) and play them as such, as opposed to what they were "supposed" to say and playing them WRONG. An example is Blaine's Charizard, who can do at most 20 damage with one energy, but many people play it by discarding the single fire energy and doing 40 damage, which is by no means allowed by the attack. Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I love strange decks - especially those involving getting multiple Stage 2 Pokemon in play. If you want me to tweak a standard (Hitmonchan, etc.) or new (Sneasel, etc.) haymaker, I must have you instead have you go to ScooterX as that is his style. His E-mail is LordOtter@aol.com . However, non-standard haymakers (Fossil Magmar + Gligar, etc.) and everything else can be sent to me: RuneGolem1@juno.com , and no, that is not the Golem that you are thinking of. ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
