First, we must look at them, and compare and contrast their abilities. First, what everyone loves about them, their powers. Muk's power stops each and every power. Iggly's only stops one of your opponent's benched pokemon for just your turn. Therefore, it is useless against Raindance, Typhlosion, Meganium, and anything else that relies on using a power during its turn. Muk stops all of these. However, none of these decks are very popular, in comparison to Slowking. Slowking has to be the most popular, and most played deck in Standard. It is so popular becasue by many accounts, it is the best. Muk stops every Slowking, each and every one. Iggly can only stop one. However, one iggly takes out one Slowking, and Your opponent will usually get at most three out, so Iggly can be out in triplicate to take them out. So, in the power department, Toxic gas is better than gaze, but only in powerless decks. If you have powers in your deck that you need, Iggly i Now, for defending itself. Muk has 70 Hp, while iggly has a mere 30. However, Iggly has the baby power. This is a better defense than the HP, because at seventy, it's probably gonna get one hit KOed anyway. If they gust an iggly, chances are you have more, and they might not kill it anyway. If Muk is out, and gusted, it will most likely be killed, and you probably won't have any more. Therefore, Iggly is capable of surviving longer. Iggly also has free retreat, so if an attack fails, you can just return to the bench. If Muk isn't one Hit KOed, you have to use some trainer or DCE to retreat it in one turn. Iggly also wastes less deck space. If you have Igglies, you usually play about three. With Muk, you usually play a 3-2 line. This is two more deck spaces lost. Also, Grimer must evolve. This gives your opponent a chance to gust something very easy to kill. And, it makes it so you can't just play the Muk down when you draw it, you have to either wait for Grimer or Muk. Now, it is time for Tim's conclusion. Igglybuff is better when played in decks with powers. Muk is better in no evolution decks without powers. Iggly is better with things that evolve and don't have powers. They are both good, and work better in different situations. I just have a question: Why would you want a rebellion against Iggly? It's not like Iggly rules all decks. It's not like Cleffa, who is in every deck, who dominates the game. However, Cleffa is to cute and cool to rebell against. -Tim e- mail me at Victreebel29@juno.com -- _______________________________________________ Get your free email from http://mymail.juno.com
