Subject: Pokemon story concerning (15+ good reading)

Long time Pokemon Player-


Well, I started playing Pokemon in lunch detention in middle school when it 
first came out I was totally green did even know what a Pokemon was never 
heard of it. But when I did I thought it was the coolest I had played magic 
before but Pokemon had an element that magic didn't something innocent and 
fun. I loved it those were the days you could walk down the street and find 
someone who play and play on the sidewalk. Then it was all down hill doesn't 
anyone remember how long it took for jungle to come out it seemed years but 
after base set and jungle came out they shot out of the factory flooding me 
with cards. MY father at the time owned a card shop so I had easy time 
getting cards when he had them. But pretty soon I realized a lot of people 
couldn't keep up. Rocket was about to come out and I heard of a thing called 
the super trainer showdown and I was psyched I trained up cuz I was the best 
at my league. Then the day came me and my girlfriend of 1 year and 6 months 
(who I meet playing Pokemon) meet up and I was the coolest time I had playing 
and getting 2nd and an invite. So I rode the metro home and told my dad all 
about it he said son well go I feel so cool cuz I got an invite I thought I 
could beat anyone in the state.
so fast-forward to the sts. There I was me and my dad in beautiful cali our 
first vacation in a while together so much fun. Finally The day came and I 
was nervous. But when I got there I saw a lot of people. And not all of them 
had invites. Well, wizards said well if you had three or more badges you 
could go man I was mad. That was a horrible thing to do that's like a bonus 
for people who live close by. They should have had two tourney with invite 
and badges. But I played though and finished 100th not my best performance 
not good hands. Well afterwards I was determined to go next year and win well 
I would have went back next year but the next one was like 6 months later 
(flood) I am not rich then the whole rumors about no 15+, then dci new rules, 
formats, after awhile no more innocence no more fun Pokemon has been 
corporately drain the players have to fight back I want thing to go back to 
fun I had more fun with haymakers and damage swaps then game where a flip 
might decide the game and I wont play magic so that's my story.

My father passed away in July last vacation
