I am Noah121. Anyway, over the introduction. I find a lot of people playing boring Archetypes. This is not a bash of archetypes. It is a philosophy that I have on a fun deck. Here are some of the components I feel a fun deck has: *Pokémon that aren't used often. *Unusual Trainer cards. *Lower Trainer count. *More Evolutions. *Not built for short games. *Favorite Pokémon. etc. etc. Also, I feel there is sort of an algorithm of building fun decks based on those components. Here is my way: 1) Think of a Pokémon or a theme to build the deck on. 2) Have 4 of the theme Pokémon, or have half of the Pokémon and Trainer cards based on the theme. 3) Use Pokémon that support your theme (for example, if the theme is your favorite Pokémon (mine is Eevee, I would have 4 Eevee and at least 4 Eeveelutions, as well as supporting W,R,L,P, or D Pokémon and Porygon2)). 4) My recommendation is anywhere from 18 to 25 Pokémon. 5) Fill in 15 to 20 spaces with Energy (if playing an intensive deck, use more than that). 6) Fill in the cracks with supporting Trainer cards (don't always go just with the general card-drawers. Go out and try cards like Gambler, Blaine's Gamble, Bill's Teleporter, etc. In the Eeveelution deck that I was talking about, be sure to include Energy Search or Energy Ark!) 7) Play it and have fun! Don't get mad if it doesn't win often. That's one of the points! (Hey, my alias today says that... see below.) Press Your Luck today for a change! ~Whammy (A.K.A.
