Hi this is Dragondude87 here with my first "Real post" and it's based on 
(trumpets playing in the background)...The 3 Ampharos. Let's begin comparing 
shall we?

Ampharos from Neo Genesis,
Stage: 2
Hp: 80
Attack:Gigaspark
Cost:L L L
Damage:40
Effect:Flip a coin. If heads,the Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed and this 
attack does 10 damage to each of your opponent's Benched Pokemon. (Don't 
apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched  Pokemon.)
Weakness: Fighting
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: 2
Rarity: Rare

Hmm, not a bad pokemon. Hitmonchan is dying down so the weakness isn't that 
big of a deal. 2 to retreat isn't bad,considering it's a stage 2 and combined 
with Mareep's Static Electricity he can come out on turn 2 to do 40 with a 
chance of Paralyzing and doing bench damage.

Ampharos from Neo 3
Stage:2
Hp:90
Attack:Gather Electricity
Cost: L
Damage:20
Effect:Flip 3 coins. Search your deck for a number of L Energy cards equal to 
the number of heads,and attach them as you like to your L pokemon.Shuffly 
your deck afterward.

Attack: Gigabolt
Cost:L L L C
Damage:40+
Effect:Flip a coin. If heads, this attack does 20 more damage;if tails the 
Defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Weakness:Fighting
Resistance: None
Retreat Cost: 3

Neo 3 is pretty good too. One L for 20 is pretty good plus with some luck you 
get three L energy and attach them as you like to your L pokemon. Gigabolt 
either does 60 or 40 and paralyzes, depending on the flip. 3 to retreat isn't 
that great though.

Dark Ampharos from Neo 4
Dark Ampharos
Type: Stage 2 Lightning Pokemon (Evolves from Dark Flaaffy)
LV.??, HP 70
[Pokemon Power] Battery
  Effect: Whenever your opponent attaches an Energy card to a
    Pokemon from his or her hand, this Power does 10 damage to
    that Pokemon. (Don't apply Weakness and Resistance)  This
    power stops working if this Pokemon is Asleep, Confused or
    Paralyzed, or another Dark Ampharos is using Battery.
LCC: Shock Bolt: 50
  Effect: Discard all L Energy cards attached to this Pokemon in
    order to use this attack.

F Weakness
(No) Resistance
No. 181 (Hologram)

Ok bear with me here last one. His 70 HP isn't the greatest but that can be 
overcome with a certain gym owned by a few Rockets... Anyway his pokemon 
power is pretty good, 10 damage to anyone one of your opponents pokemon that 
get any energy (cough,cough,energy removal,cough) Hmm, sorry about that ;) 
with a DCE on this guy his attack wouldn't be all that bad.
