Hey Pojo People, you guys probably have no idea who I am, I was on Pojo a long time ago when it was still one site and was known as "Jason Ketchum". (I'm now a semi-retired Pokemon player). I was lookin' at the articles and KDRs and read one article about PokeFlute. Mark... have you heard of any of the Neo cards or the new Archetypes now? Well here was his article:
Everyone out there thinks that the Pokeflute is the most useless card and the
worst card every made.
Think again.
There are many ways. Here's one of the strategys:
You get prizes faster. Yep. You can. It's simple. Just follow these steps:
1. Evolve all your pokemon on your bench (if they can evolve).
2. Use Fossil Aerodactyl's PP to stop all evolutions. Okay here's one thing I don't like about this, archetypes now are getting Pokemon powered up fast.. Reeeeeal fast. And there is lots of "TeCh"...or TEcH... whatever, that Aerodactyl's gonna be KO'd so fast you'll never know you even had him. Lots of BBPs like Sneasel and Rocket's Zapdos are gonna be dealin' tons of damage to ya. So that Aero should not belong in a deck that uses PokeFlute.
3. Use Pokeflute to get a weak basic pokemon out of your opponents discard
pile. "Wep; D. Or, use a Mew against a pokemon like Charizard,
Alakazam, etc. Use Devolution beam to lower it's Stage, making it easier to
KO.
Hitmonlee??? That guy's way too weak and a bit slow. Also there is already an archetype with this strategy. I think it's called Hunter.... I don't know. But the goal is to have Murkrow (a Neo card) with 2 Darkness energies, Feint Attack some slow Pokemon, and whack some Baby or Ditto or something for a whopping 40 damage (because of the Darkness Energy effect) or use Umbreon and whack a baby or something for 50 damage (with the Darkness Energy effect)There are lots of variations I've seen, like Pokeflute (repeatedly get back Baby Pokemon and repeatedly KO em) and with Brock's Golbat.
Now, you see what you can do. Finally. A use for it.
