We have never seen Grass pokemon rule the tourney seen, but why? Fire is not a killer these days, and Yanma can go through Metal. Scyther shows up in speed decks. But I thought I would make a few decks/strategies out of Grass pokemon. Strategey number 1 Vebusaur/Pokemon Center Everyone knows about the Venu-Center right? Well, why did it die? It wasn't a huge archetype, but could be really annoying. Incase you don't know what this does, Venusaur moves energy to undameged pokemon. You use pokemon center, than move back the energies. Deck number 1 3 Bulbasaur 3 Ivysaur 3 Venusaur 3 Pinsir 2 Chansey 2 Cleffa 2 Promo Igglybuff 2 Magby 3 Pokemon Center 3 Professer Oak 3 Professer Elm 3 Computer Search 2 Energy Removal 3 Bill 23 Grass energy The idea of this deck is to do the damage with Venusaur or Pinsir. When you have lots of Damage, lay down a Magby, Chansey, or Igglybuff to move energies with. Magby can also work as an Anti-Slowking. Chansey works as an early game staller, just like Iggly. Cleffa is for card drawing. Strategy Number 2 Exeguttor and Meganium Everyone knoes this strategy. Put Energy on Eggy, Double it with Megy. 2 Energies can make 4 Flips, up to 80 Damage, average of 40. Either way, the deck: 4 Eggusucute (How do you spell that?) [GLitcH's note: Exeggcute ;)] 3 Exeguttor 4 Chikorita 2 Bayleef 3 Meganium (WIld Growth) 2 Cleffa 1 Chansey 2 Rocket Squirlte 2 Pokemon Breeder 4 Defender 3 Professer Oak 2 Professer Elm 2 Gold Berry 3 Mary 23 Grass Energy Ok, this deck does have that Weak Basic problem, Rocket Charmander gets a FTKO off a Pluspower. That, is why I put in 4 Defenders. Now, Breeder is faster than Bayleef, but Bayleef can hold his own. (Witchever one you use) I've always preferred Stage 1 over Breeder, because of Dk. Vileplume and Slowking. If you use a deck like this, you need to evolve really fast! You can do the damage with a Good ol' Eggy, or you can do damage with Meganium. Squirtle beats those P-ME-OFF Fire guys. Strategey number 3 Neo Beedrill's Poison This is barely a combo, but Triple Posion rules! You could always add in Rocket's Training Gym. I think I will, that could really slow down Sneasle. Incase you don't know, Triple poison gets them poisoned after a flip, and they take---30 a turn! Rocket's Training Gym increases everyone's Retreat by C. Anywhoo, here's the deck. (all bugs are from Discovery) 4 Weedle 4 Kakuna 4 Beedrill 3 Yanma 2 Igglybuff 3 Cleffa 2 Magmar (neo) 2 Pokemon Breeder 2 Warp Point 3 Professer Oak 2 Gold Berry 3 Energy Removal 2 Super Energy Removal 2 Rocket's Training Gym 3 Recycle 18 Grass Energy THis deck is Very Simple, you just Poison Something, than Use twineedle to finish 'em off. Because little stalling is nessacerry, Igglybuff works better than Magby. If you face Free Retreat, use RTG. If you face metal, Poison them, then whomp 'em all with Yanma. Metal NRG won't effect Yanma. Well, those are some great deck ideas. If I feel like it, witch I probably will, I'll do this again. Look for Jumpluff, Koga's Beedrill, and Bellosem decks. If you use a deck like these, or one of these, please E-mail me about it, I appreciate any replies. I don't even mind Hate-mail, but don't send any viruses. And, if you're that Kid from my league who keeps reading everything I write, hi. I'm Jerm, I rule, I'm SuperCleffa@aol.com Goodbye!
