Hey, its me...RaceRabbit. Please, stop applauding. Anyway, I've posted here 2 times before on the worst cards and on the neo 4 set. This time, i'm gonna be talking about the card sets long ago, and some cards that got left behind in the dust of Scyther, Dark Vileplume, and Sneasel. Let us look now, into my Magic Mirror of the Past. (that sounded cool)

BASE SET:
Well, we all know where Electabuzz came from. Chansey was also introduced, but other than these two, there isn't much else surviving from then. Rain Dance has kind of dried up, and Farfetch'd isn't used at all. Main Forgotten Card: Farfetch'd. Yes, way back when...musta been '99, this little duck was in just about every deck as the perfect colorless splash. But uh, not anymore.

JUNGLE:
Well, here come those crazy pocket monsters again. This time we burst out with Wiggly and Scyther, who are still very playable today. One card who didn't get enough play (i think) was Butterfree. He's got 80HP with a Mega Drain, which is good offense and Defense all in 4 energy. But anyway, he's never really been played so...Main Forgotten Card: Mr. Mime. He beat lots of decks a while ago, but now I don't see many decks playing him anymore. Maybe its because Slowking has appeared in more Psychic decks now. Also, there are several methods of disabling Pokemon Powers like Invisible Walls now. There's Igglybuff, Goop Gas, Magby, Muk...

FOSSIL:
Not a lot came out of this set. There were a few like Lapras, or Articuno, but that was about it. Gengar came in a few specialized decks, but those didn't do to well against colorless. Main Forgotten card: Dragonite. Everbody ranks him well, but no one plays him. But he can soak up damage and Slam is good on offense.

ROCKET:
Only one ard came from here, and anyone who owns any cards knows its Dark Vileplume. " No! I forbid those Trainers! Get them out of my sight!" Main Forgotten Card: Dark Alakazam. HIt and run! No more pesky Psychic resistance. But he only has 60 HP....

Stay tuned for part 2, which I will right, uh, later. And as always, if you disagree with this list, that's your problem. Not mine.
