I've had a few comments from people regarding my posting on 9th August about 
using SI Mew with Rainbow energy. People say you CAN use just the one Rainbow 
energy as The PSYCHIC for the cost AND a different colour for the effect. 
Well, I still don't think so.....

If you look at Rainbow Energy it says "counts as every type of Basic 
energy..."  But it ogoes on to say... "But only provides one energy at a 
time." Now that isn't saying it can't count as TWO energies (!) it's saying 
that for the duration of your turn you must decide what energy type you want 
it to be. 
If you only have the one Rainbow on Mew, it will have to be a "psychic" 
energy to attack. You'll need a second energy to attack other coloured 
opponents.
Ok, so this does limit the card, but HEY... if it was just one Rainbow needed 
that would be MEGApowerful. In one turn deal up to 120 damage with one 
energy???  As it is, it is still the best card SI has to offer due to the 
fact it is so flexible. Against any monocolour deck it is killer. Even 
against duel colour decks, if you get in with Erika's Perfume, you have a 
chance to get the right colours on the opposite bench. 

As for the Rainbow ruling, if you disagree with what I say above, take it up 
with WOTC... they need to clarify it.
