THE TOP TEN DIRT CHEAP CARDS Hey, Its me again, Pokeheezy. Um........ in my last article "Bannings, Etc." I wrote about bannings, restrictions, archetypes, and the ever-lovable (sarcasticly) RANTERS. I got some emails in reply. Some thought i was PRO archetype. While others thought I was against them. And others just agreed with disliking ranters. Actually, it was about me totally Hating ranters and people who nag about archetypes and bannings. I actually dont care either way towards archetypes, but i lean more towards AGAINST them though. I just wanted to say that to clear things up for everybody. Well any hoo.... back to my main article. This article is about the REALLY good commons and Uncommons. The ones that are worth being rares but somehow slipped into the test bin of non-rares at Wotc. Well here they are. # 5 EXEGGUTOR This card is pretty good. It says flip a number of coins equal to the number of ENERGY attatched to it, and it does 20 times the number of heads. Leave it on the bench for a while, charge it up, then send it out to unleash its wrath. And even better you can combo it with Venusaur. But its a little energy intensive, but who really cares when you can do a truckload of damage. # 4 ARCANINE OH MAN!!! This card is off the Poke-Heezy. It has 100 HP, and two really solid attacks. First, it has Flamethrower which costs 2 Fire and 1 Colorless, and does 50 damage. Its second attack, Take Down does 80 for 2 Fire and a DCE and (wispering) thirty damage to your self. # 3 SABRINAS KADABRA WOW. is this card good or what? Its first attack it has is Life Drain. Flip a coin if heads it damages the defending pokemon 10 less than its total HP. It only takes one colorless. And just for insurance attach a Sabrina's ESP. And its second attack does 30 for one psy energy and a DCE. # 2 MAGMAR (FOSSIL) You all know what this card does. That great Smokescreen, the horrific Smog, and to top it off that wonderful frase, "70 HP". Need I say more? And last but not least... # 1 QUILAVA its first attack is Smokescreen. You all know what it does. For 2 fire you can do 20 damage. And its second attack...... Man is it strong. "Char". It has a base damage of 30 and costs 3 fire. It requires you to flip a coin. If heads put a 'Char' counter on the defending pokemon. After every turn, your opponent has to flip a coin. if it is tails, it does 20 damage to that pokemon with the char counter. the great thing is that it CAN'T be healed with Full Heal or by benching. The only way it could be healed is by putting it back into your hand, or maybe by evolving. To top it off, it has 70 HP, only one retreat cost and is only a stage 1. The only bad things are that it has weakness to water and all of the attacks it has are all fire required. Well, that about wraps it up. Any hoo... thats life, and thats Pokemon.
