I have decided to give everyone a peek into my mind on the tops of the
pokemon, trainers and energies from base to neo1. As you all know
picking the best of each to put in a deck or just admire is not easy and
getting harder as more cards are added. I hope I can help you out a bit.

POKEMON:

5.Alakazam- After people stared finding out the powers of Alakazam it
became a craze.
I mean you can take damage off your active pokemon
then poke center all you damage counters
you have piled up throughout the turns off like you
werent even fazed.

4.Cleffa-This little guy revalutionalized pokemon play now if someone
gets down they pesky caos gym
or dark viaplume you can use eeeeeeek just like a elm. Also
can get you out of many sticky situations

3.Rockets Zapdos-Virtually the best attack for a basic with one
energy(20 damage and pick up a electric energy from you discard pile).
Also no weakness, resistance to fighting,
his retreat cost isnt a problem because of his first attack and his
second
attack can be a nice last KO.

2.Syther-Man he's a great guy.He can go in any deck with his collorless
attack, has high hp , can do 60 damage on turn two if played right,
no retreat cost, resistance to fighting and the card looks
cool too. That got me tung tied.

1.Wigglytuff-There are many wiggly haters dont be mad at me but look at
the stats. he has a great basic with high hp and good attacks.
By turn two you can do 60 damage and keep it coming
for the turns ahead. His high hp keeps him alive long luliby allows you
to
stall if you need to. while he is in play you can
power up your bench while pileing on the damage. Many people may say he
is
dead because of sprout tower but just put in gyms of
your own to combat those gyms(ex.No Energy removal Gym). He is just
plain good

TRAINERS:

5.Rockets Sneak Attack-Why not? Take away one of your opponents trainers
like an oak that he so desprately needed to use on
                                       the next turn.

4.Plus Power-Add that exra ten damage. Helps out because you can prevent
the pokemon from attacking you next
turn with only ten hp left.

3.Gust Of Wind-ko that pesky pokemon thats been keeping your deck from
functioning properly(ex Aradactyl) or just take out the
heart of your opponents deck(ex.gust in the
Kadabra before your opponent can get out his alakazam)

2.Computer Search-YES! Get any card you want from you deck whenever you
want and use. Should be in every deck

1.Profesor Elm/Oak-Both of these guys are Great and can be used in
different deck strategies. You can get rid of that horrible hand
you have and get a totaly new one.

ENERGIES:

5.All Basic Types-Because without them it would be very hard to play
with many decks

4.DARK/METAL-Are great with decks that have a dark or metal type. Dark
you can do ten more damage for each one
on your pokemon. Metal the opponents
pokemon does ten less damage to your pokemon for each one.

3.Recycle-This energy is great. If you have never used it try it you can
keep it around forever. reatreat your pokemon or use a
super potion or a super energy removal on the pokemon it
is attache to and it is like your not discarding an energy at all
because it goes straies back into your hand

2.Full Heal-If your pokemon is confused, paralyzed, asleep or poisoned use
it and you heal that pokemon while adding an
                  energy to it.

1.Double Colorless-Insted of only adding one energy cost at a time add
two. It can help you attack much quicker and help get
you out obad situations where you need to
retreat a pokemon with two retreat cost or someone had just
did a super energy removal to your pokemon
and you need two collorless energies use it.

I hope this has helped many people out with the cards that are good out
there.
After writing this up I commened anyone who has ever written a top list
before because it is very hard.
