To beat a Haymaker, use one! To beat a Wigglytuff deck, use one! To beat a Raindance, use one!

I am not talking about using the same kind of deck they use to beat them, because they probably know it better than you. I am saying that you should build the same type of deck and use it for casual play for a few weeks. You'll learn:
1)The Strategy. If you know the strategy, they probably won't surprise you as often.
2)The Weakness. By using it, you'll learn what beats the crap out of it and what it can't lose to.
3)The Deck. If you play with it and seem to like it and play it well, you can keep it and kick some butt.
Also, never use an unfamiliar deck when it counts (tournaments, STS). If you're used to Raindance, don't use a Haymaker. Chanseys:) are you'll run into someone who'll thrash you because they play the same deck and know it better.
