Hi, my name is Jsctoyboy.  This is the 3rd installment of Jsctoyboy2’s Junker! Hope you like it.

First I will tell your about my rating system of a card it will be 0 to 5.

This is a 5 out of 5. Perfect card in almost every way

This is a 4 out of 5. Good card and reliable

This is a 3 out of 5. Ok card, useable

This is a 2 out of 5. Not a very good card

This is a 1 out of 5. Meaning this card stinks.

Now lets get the stuff you came here for my pick of the pokemon card of the day. Is………..*drum roll*

It’s Feraligator

Power:       "Downpour"

As often as you like during your turn (before your attack),

You may discard a W Energy card from your hand. This power

Can’t be used if Feraligatr is Asleep, Confused, or

             Paralyzed.

Attack:      [WWW] Riptide  (10+)

Does 10 damage plus 10 damage times the number of W Energy

Cards in your discard pile.  Then, shuffle all W Energy

Cards from your discard pile into your deck.

Facts

Water Pokemon       Weakness to Grass

2nd Stage Pokemon    3 energies for its attack

It’s attack you could put your waters into your deck

Strategies with Feraligator

The most effective strategies with Feraligator are to power him up with the 3 water energies and do his attack “Rip Tide”, Once all the waters go back into your deck, make sure you have a Trash Exchange from the Team Rockets set. If you do Trash Exchange you have a good chance of putting more water energies back into the discard pile and return much needed trainers into your deck. Make sure you have Item finders in your deck so you can get a Trash exchange when you need it.

Good Combos with Feraligator

Are if you can pull off the evolutions Blastoise and Feraligator then you will have an awesome combo even if your opponent has energy removal or super energy removal. With Blastoise you can now “Rain dance” the 3 energies right back. Gold Berry makes Feraligator last longer, and like I said before Trash Exchange is a must in any kind Feraligator deck. Have gust of winds so you don’t waste a Rip tide on a weak pokemon, Gust out that Onix before it becomes a steelix, sneasals, or the deadly scyther or any grass pokemon.

How to Counter Feraligator ?

Some ways to counter Feraligator are any Grass pokemon, sneasal, or gust out the Totilde before it evolves. RSA, LASS, Chaos gym will prevent a Pokemon Breeder. Super Energy Removal or Energy Removal the water energies away so you can have 1 more turn to Knock Out Feraligator.

Rating?

I give this Card a  3 out of 5  ***

It’s a Good card, but it is a 2nd stage pokemon without Blastoise Feraligator takes 3 turns to power up! A Super Energy Removal would stop it dead in it’s tracks. Average card, but great pokemon power.

See ya Until The Next Jsctoyboy’s Junker…
