Hi all! Here is one of my many reports submitted to Pojo. Great site! Anyway,
I wanted to take a deep look into Neo 2 and see exactly how it will change
the game. I will do a breif overview of some cards I believe will change the
game, and which types will become better.

1. Kabutops
Broken. Extremely broken. OK, the only problem right now for us Pokemon
players, is that there are two different types of this card. The one on
apprentice, and the other one on all the websites. In case you want to know,
the one in apprentice lets you use Hydro Cutter in this way:
F  Flip a coin for each energy attatched to Kabutops. This attack does 40
damage times the number of heads. You cannot flip mnore than three coins in
this way.
or
F  Flip a coin for each energy attatched to Kabutops. This attack does 40
damage times the number of heads. You can not flip more than two heads this
way.

Which way is better? The second one!!! Only three coins in the first one?
Thats a possible 120 damage, good luck. But in the second one, ya keep
loading it up with energy, a.k.a a Fighting then a DCE and 80 a turn from the
second turn. And to top it all off, its a water. Therefore it is not weak to
R's Zapdos. Scyther is a problem, but it's HP is great. 90. Retreat of two.
It is NOT a water reliant card tho. Only fighting is needed. Wierd but good.
I cant wait to get my hands on this card. Watch for Meganium.

2. Houndoom
Eh...I dont know what to saty about this one. The thing is, this one also has
two different types for its best attack. Crunch. On one, it says that it
boosts up your next Crunch attack by 20, and on the other it says that it
boosts all attacks during your and your opponents next turn by 20. If it is
the second way, the card will not be as good as expected. If it is the first
way however, it will be very good. And besides, it's Flamethrower.
FLAMETHROWER. That means goodbye to Meganium in one shot. Scyther. Venuasur.
Jumpluff. All gone. Very good card...

3. Beedrill
Look at Kabutops. Broken. It's almost Rocket's Zapdos broken. I mean, lets
compare it to it's competitor. Nidoking. Beedrill has free retreat, 30 poison
damage for 1 energy, (if you get the flip) resistance to fighting, 80 HP.
Nidoking has: 20 poison damage. No resistance. umm....20 poison damage. This
card is awesome!!!! 30 pison can down any Haymaker pokemon in one full turn.
It's second attack is kind of crap, but you likely wont be using it much.
Seeing as it has free retreat, you can combine it with Scyther or some other
card with free retreat. Jumpluff...

4. Butterfree
Same as Beedrill. Cept this one makes it so you can make your opponents
Pokemon have ANY status effect. Combine this with Beedrill (Poison/Confusion)
for real lethal damage. Not broken, but still a good card. It's second attack
is not that great, same thing as Mewtwo's (base).

5. Scizor
It's an ok card. Not broken, nor is it anywhere near it. It has a one energy
super fang, resistance to grass. it's second attack will average 40, 30 with
metal. This card is not that good now that I think about it. If you can Slice
a Meganium or a Chansey, that would hurt. But it's second attack can do at
most 50 with two heads. Pretty fast to get out, but pretty easy to take out.
Especially with Houndoom.

6.Umbreon
Ah...the ultimate baby killer. Moonlight deals 30 damage to anyone. (Not sure
if it's 50 tho, due to the Darkness energy?) If it does use the Darkness, it
would be a lethal card, and a force to be reckoned with. But just like the
other popular Darkness Pokekmon, Sneasel, Energy Removal would leave this guy
crying. Losing two Darkness energies hurts. Especially hurts him. Good card.
If you have EcoGym out.

Well thats all for now. I am really looking forward to Neo 2, mainly because
of Beedrill and Kabutops. The types that benifited most are Water/Fighting
(Kabutops) and Grass of course. Wait till Neo 4 comes out, because grass will
keep getting more powerful Pokemon each time, Jumpluff in Neo 3 will be
lethal. Till next time...
