Hi!  I'm a trainer some of you may know as Mr.Mime from WotC's PokéGym Site.  For PoJo Purposes, since they ask us not to use Pokémon Names for aliases, I am going to go by Giovanni, my favourite male trainer (being a guy, I don't think I'm going to go by Sabrina, my favourite Gym Leader).  I am sending in an article regarding Jumpluff--one of the greatest Pokémon Cards of all time!  First of all, let's look at the card.  Also, please note, "[G]" means 1 Grass Energy (attack costs), and "(##)" refers to the Damage, where the "#" is a number.  All effects of attacks are listed immedately following the attack name.

Jumpluff Lv.35
Stage 2 - Evolves from Skiploom
Grass Type
70 HP
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Fighting (-30)
Retreat: None
[G] Sleep Powder (20) The Defending Pokémon is now Asleep.
[G] Leech Seed (20) If this attack damages the Defending Pokémon (after applying Weakness and Resistance), remove 1 damage counter from Jumpluff, if it has any.

This Pokémon says "I AM the No Removal Gym" all over it!  Also, thanks to some comment from various trainers that I received via the PokéGym, I am combining Jumpluff with Pokémon Centre!  Remove six damage counters for one Grass Energy!  Wow!

Now, I'd like to take a moment and look at the Neo III Jumpluff.

Jumpluff Lv.37
Stage 2 - Evolves from Skiploom
Grass Type
70 HP
Weakness: Fire
Resistance: Fighting (-30)
Retreat: None
[G] Star of Evolution Choose as many of your Hoppip and Skiploom in play as you like. Search your deck for the appropriate evolution cards and attach them to those Pokémon. Shuffle your deck afterward.
[G] Solar Beam (30)

This card SCREAMS "ABUSE ME, PLEASE!" All over it!  I cannot wait for it to be released in America.  Just imagine, four cards that can deal 30 for one Grass Energy!  And the "Star of Evolution" attack is almost as good as Koga's Kakuna's Pokémon Power!

NOTE:  Thank you to Edo, for the Lv.37 Jumpluff Card Translation.

If you have any comments, suggestions, et cetera, please contact me.
I also enjoy fixing Jumpluff Decks!  I have six different Jumpluff Decks at this time!
