There are many cards in the Pokemon TCG that are overlooked. For instance, I have looked through every killer deck, and (correct me if I'm wrong) none of them have a porygon in them. Porygon is a valuable card when you look at him closly. I consider porygon more of a trainer card than a pokemon because it changes weaknesses, and that is basically all. Here is one example of when a porygon is a big help in a game: Alakazam is killing your guys and using damage trans to some chnseys on the bench. It will be awhile before you can kill him by battering him down. You have a hitmonchan, but it can only do 40 damage. No problem though, just bring out a porygon, change alakazam's weakness to fighting, and kill him in one hit. Porygon will probably die, but it worls out better in the long run. There are other overlooked cards in the pokemon game too. People see the little circle in the bottom right corner and think, "Pff, stupid common card, it's worthless." The reason that they aer common is because you need a lot of them :). Gust of Wind is very important when your opponent is powering up a highly evolved pokemon on the bench. Just bring out the big guy before he has all his energy, and he is done for. Switch is very valuable when you need to get a pokemon with a weakness to your enemy out of the battle fast. Even some cards like plus power are not used often, but when you need to kill something fast, then you should have one ready to go. Take my advice and put some more common trainers and pokemon into your deck, they can really save you in a pinch. ____
