Meowth and Persian are probably 2 of the best Colorless Pokemon around. They might not have the strongest moves or the highest HP, but they are useful in their own ways. First of all, Meowth has an attack called Pay Day. It takes 2 Colorless Energy and causes only 10 damage. This attack might seem useless at first but if you read the text, it says flip a coin. If heads, draw a card. With lucky coin flips, you can quickly draw cards out to evolve your Pokemon, give them energy, whatever. Pay Day might not be so useless after all, huh? What Meowth is really good for is evolving into Persian. Persian can use the same 2 Colorless Energy and use an attack called Scratch (which causes 20 damage). With 1 more Colorless Energy, he can use Pounce. Pounce causes 30 damage but has a more useful advantage. When you use Pounce, your opponents attack is reduced by 10. This can be useful early on when each of your opponents Pokemon isn't fully powered up to dish mega-damage. Fighting the likes of Abra or Oddish can be a cinch to defeat. They can cause only 10 damage and if you use Pounce, you won't take any damage at all! As you can tell, Meowth and Persian are probably 2 of the best Colorless Energy. They're cheap and aren't hard to find. They each have their own special advantage. Since they're Colorless, they fit in with any deck. Plus, they only require 3 Energy cards. I hope you agree with me about how good these 2 are. Just try them out, they could be a really big help. Kim a.k.a.
