O.K. , about ninetales vs. arcanine, let's all think about this. Let's
read the nice, little, charts below.

Arcanine:
Hp:100 ( very nice)
Attacks: Flamthrower 2fire 1 colerless, 50 damage(discard 1 fire
energy), take down 2fire 2colerless, 80 damage(does 30 damage to
arcanine, ONE WORD, DEFENDER!!!).
retreat cost: 3 colerless (switch)

Ninetales:
Hp: 80 (lower than arcanine??)
Attacks: lure 2colerless, switch opponets pokemon(who
cares.....uh...g.o.w.) fireblast 4fire!!!!( fire spicificly)80
damage(look up...takedown), discard 1fire.
retreat cost: 1

I'd go with ninetales on the retreat cost, every thing eles arcanine!!
Arcanine has more hp,  does more damage with both attacks, and last but
not least, an Arcanine can beat Ninetales in one attack, where ninetales
needs 2 attacks to kill Arcanine. Arcanine can attack at 2 different
rates, ninetales, only 1!!! I'm sorry ninetales lovers but Arcanine will
destroy you so easy, it's sad. Oh another thing, Arcanine is uncommon,
ninetaes is.......uh...........mh........I...I think it is RARE!!!!
