Ninetales is a decent Pokemon....but that is just it, decent.  He is a 
shiny, expensive Pokemon.  I hate the idea of using a Pokemon that discards 
energy.  Even Tyler Grund says, and I am not the greatest of friends with 
him, any good tourney winner deck has Energy Removal Power--translation, 
OWIE...STOP WITH THE HURTING AND THE PAIN...OWIE OWIE.  I have to agree with 
him...or you at least need to be able to get energy fast (i.e. Venusaur or 
Blastiose.)  Fire Pokemon are not at the top of my list--especially 
Charizard--the slowest Pokemon in the game.  My overall top favorite Pokemon 
would have to be a toss-up between Hitmonchan and Farfetch'd.
