Subject: Words of Weirding_____Kyle Kranz

With Zur's Weirding being in 8th edition, there has been quite a rush to see 
how it can be abused in the Type 2 format.

The answer = Words of Worship

Some other people and myself have been testing this deck for quite a while 
now. What prompted me to write this was the article by Tyler Grund, on a 
deck using Zur's Weirding and Convalescent Care. That is just not good, 
Words of Worship if far better.

Now, these guys were really meant for each other! The lock is once you have 
Zur's Weirding and Words of Worship in play. Its good to play a Wrath of God 
after u get the lock. You just deny them any card drawing, and you gain 5 
life instead of drawing. Also, it is very important to know that this deck 
is not using any Odyssey, Torment, or Judgment cards. We've been testing it 
for when they rotate out of type 2.

That is the lock, of course since this is a control deck, it needs ways to 
slow your opponent down, and to keep you alive until the lock is out.

A few matchups I've played.

VS Slide: This can be a tough matchup. Wing Shards is very good vs them. -4 Wrath of God -1 Trade Routes
+2 Wipe Clean +3 Oblation

VS Sligh: Sideboard wont do a lot vs goblins, but they are'nt to tough. with 
the Wing Shards and Story Circle work great.

VS Zombies: Karma is nice vs them. If they are using Cemetary, you'll have 
to put in some Wipe Clean.

VS Elves: This is'nt a lot different from sligh. Wing Shards and Story 
Circle help. Caller of the Claw can be a small problem thou.




Give it a try! It is a very fun deck to use, not the funnest to play against 
though : )
