But sometimes I can pull in the win without the Pacts just by the sheer size of my creatures. But when the Grave Pact comes into play, you can practically play Plague Wind every turn. The Carrion Feeders, Fallen Angels, Nantuko Husks, and Phyrexian Plaguelords can have you sacrificing creatures, activating each Pact in play, paving the way for a big attack. The Ichorids are pretty cool, too, since I can bring them back to play for another sacrificing, or, if I don't have anything to sacrifice them to, well, they go to the graveyard anyway. As sideboards, Chainer's Edict and Smother can bring you support for decks that rely on quick and early creatures to rush you down. Or, if your opponent has no creatures (I don't know why you'd still use this deck, though), you can swap in the Pangolins, the Thugs, and the Sludges for the creature-removal spells.
