Yes, there are more Opposition archetypes out there, and there are bound to be many more. This is a rather original creation that combines the raw power (and needless to say, unfairness) of Mirari's Wake with Opposition's ability to lock down the opponent. Stir in some mana acceleration, card-drawing, and efficient creatures and you've got a recipe for success, a recipe that can perform some very outlandish stunts in order to win.

    4 Llanowar Elves
    4 Birds of Paradise
    4 Basking Rootwalla
    4 Wild Mongrel

Artifacts (2)

2 Slate of Ancestry

Spells (18)

4 Mirari's Wake
    3 Squirrel Nest
    1 Folk Medicine
    2 Wrath of God
    4 Opposition
    4 Circular Logic

Anurid Brushhopper An efficient 3/4 for 1GW is a good thing. An efficient 3/4 for 1GW with the ability to dodge any kind of removal is an incredibly annoying good thing.
Llanowar Elves Their name is synonymous with mana acceleration, and they become mini-Icy Manipulators later on.
Birds of Paradise The same goes for the Birds. They double as the air defense sect of the deck once they're pumped via Mirari's Wake.
Basking Rootwalla A good one-drop with the ability to grow larger later on to beat down the opponent. Its Madness ability has synergy with two other cards in this deck to boot.
Wild Mongrel A good, efficient 2/2 for 1G that is a handy thing to have should a Circle of Protection-Green appear on the other end of the table.
Slate of Ancestry Let's face it-there aren't that many playable artifacts in Type II. Slate of Ancestry stands out among them as a potential windfall of cards. Remember that you can activate it when you have no cards in your hand; simply "discard" your zero-card hand and fill up again. During test runs, this card has drawn me upwards of a dozen cards each activation.
Mirari's Wake One of two key enchantments in the deck, Mirari's Wake doubles as a mana super-charger and an all-creature Crusade (all of your creatures, that is).
Squirrel Nest This card is absolutely ridiculous. Swarm your enemy with an army of pumped-up squirrels, gain boatloads of life, tap down all your foe's permanents, or draw dozens of cards in combination with other powerful cards in this deck.
Folk Medicine This solves the problem of a lot of painland damage and the tendency of Wake decks to hurt themselves significantly with mana burn. In combination with the deck's efficient creatures and Squirrel Nest, it can gain you more than enough to stay in the game and even take control of it. Its white Flashback cost isn't bad, either.
Wrath of God The standard card when it comes to mass creature elimination can pull some nasty tricks with Squirrel Nest and Anurid Brushhopper.
Opposition If I have to explain it to you, you don't know what Type II is.
Circular Logic One of Type II's few effective counterspells packs a Madness ability with the low cost of U that you can activate via Wild Mongrel or Slate of Ancestry.
