Subject: Worldgorger inf. damage, inf. life - Kevin Delger Hello, This is a really cool type 2 combo for infinite damage and infinite life gain. I saw the Worldgorger Dragon soon after Judgement came out, and really like the concept, but I wanted to find a way to maximize it's ability for my benefit. I remembered a person at a local card shop trying to find a good way to use Pardic Arsonist, and that's where the combo began. I took my two favorite "comes into play" creatures, Pardic Arsonist and Teroh's Faithful, and paired them with the dragon. Then I saw the description of Wormfang Drake. Then I put the best support cards I could think of: False Memories and Coalition Honor Guard. So here's the combo: Setup: Have an Honor Guard, Arsonist, and Faithful out. Next turn, cast a Drake taking out the Arsonist or Faithful, (doesn't really matter) then, hopefully in the same turn, cast another Drake taking out the first one. you gain or deal damage depending on what you took out first. Next turn, cast the Dragon. Everything leaves including the Drake. when the Drake leaves the first Drake comes back into play. It's only Target is the Dragon so the Dragon leaves. Everything comes back in, gain 4 from the faithful, opponent loses 3 from the Arsonist, and the first Drake needs a target. Target the second Drake and the Dragon comes back into play. The second Drake needs a target, Dragon leaves everything else comes back. Repeat the process until lethal damage is dealt. I admit, it is very difficult to get off, especially in the second or third game because your opponent knows to take out the Arsonists. It is important to compact the combo into as few turns as possible. Notes: Use the False Memories if you are not at threshold when you want to execute the combo. The deck I have in mind is R/W/BU with blue for getting the cards to your hand, white for protecting the creatures and lasting through enought of the game to set up the combo, and red for the dragons and anything else. I have not playtested anything because I don't have the cards or the money to get the cards. For this reason I don't know just how hard the combo is or how it does against anything else. Please feel free to e-mail me with any suggestions for a deck using this combo combo or any criticisms of the combo. There are quite a few good combos with the Dragon, for example, hide an island under a Wormfang Newt. with a retraced image, and two Dragons in hand cast one of the Dragons. With the one island that comes back cast Retraced Image on the Dragon in your hand. your permanents come back and you have a 7/7 flying Trample for 3RRRBu, and when the Dragon leaves you have another one that comes back. new_kevind@hotmail.com that is all, Kevin Delger _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
