Simple, really. Nantuko Cultivator is 3G for a 2/2, where you discard as many land cards from your hand to put him in play with that many +1/+1 counters on him and draw that many cards. So, the combo: You need a Nantuko Cultivator in your hand, plus a rites of spring, and four mana on the table, less if you just want to get the sod in play. Play rites of spring to discard your entire hand bar the Cultivator, drawing up to six lands. Next turn, hopefully draw a land, then play Nantuko Cultivator, discarding to him to get at best a 9/9 on turn 6 and a full hand. Least I've ever seen him played as using this combo was a 5/5. If necessary, Odyssey's Concentrate can be a good way to fill your hand up before the discard begins. Contact details: David Rodoy, edge_braak@yahoo.co.uk
