Burn in odyssey is completely broken now. Blazing Salvo, where was the thought with that, either I get a Lightning Bolt, now banned, or you lose a quater of your life. There are some great greens to add to the already impressive invasion block cycle ones. Mongrol rules!!!! Anyway, before I get to carried away, this is my Blazing Mongrol Deck. Green 4 Giant Growth 4 Basking Rootwalla 4 Llanower Elves 3 Elephant Ambush 4 Wild Mongrol 3 Werebear Red 4 Blazing Salvo 4 Firebolt 2 Flametoungue Kavu (Uncommon) 4 Shock Gold 3 Fires of Yavimaya (Uncommon) 3 Yavimaya Barbarian Land: 11 Forest 7 Mountain The Idea of the deck is pretty simple. Play Shock or Firebolt or Llanower Elves turn 1. Or anything else really, doesn't really matter. Turn 2 play Wild Mongrol, and during you're opponents end of turn discard for Rootwallas for their Madness (and Mongrol gets +4/+4). Next turn your opponent is dead. That's a 3 turn Tempo swing, many opponents will resign at this point, especially if you kill their only bear with a Firebolt or Shock or Salvo. OK. So this doesn't always come off. But there are several super-solid cards to back this up. Burn is self explanatary. Werebear is either a slightly more expensive 'Elves or a 2 land 4/4 sounds good to me. The creatures are solid. Theonly obvious variant is swappin the 3 Fires of Yavimaya for Nacicism. I prefer Fires. Sideboard: 2 Explosive Growth 1 Yavimaya Barbarian 1 Werebear 4 Flame Burst 3 Pincer Spider 2 Horned Kavu 2 Nimble Mongouse Self explanatry again.
