Shotgun (Extended Mono-Green) -Land- 16 Forest 4 Gaea's Cradle -Creatures- 4 Fyndhorn Elves 4 Priest of Titania 4 Llanowar Elves 4 Llanowar Sentinel 4 Birds of Paradise 4 Elvish Lyrist 4 Quirion Ranger -Other- 4 Crop Rotation 4 Roar of the Wurm 4 Crush of Wurms Commentary - A very fun to play mono-green almost entirely geared towards the lovely-but-expensive Crush of Wurms. It is very consistent, usually getting either a crush or Roar + flashback Roar out around turn 3/4. It works on a very nice curve, similar to it's ideological cousin Elfball (Flaming Elves). Synopsios- Turn 1: Forest, Elf/Bird Turn 2: Cradle, Elf, Titania's Priestess (or more elves) Turn 3: Roar, Crush, Llanowar Sentinels x4 Turn 4: Shotgun! Card Choices - You may want to change some of these depending on your current environment. Most are obvious choices except the following Llanowar Sentinel. The synergy between this and Priest of Titania and Gaea's Cradle is amazing, netting you 4 solid 2/3's, as well as providing the mana for all sorts of lovely Wurm-related fun. Try them and love them Elvish Lyrist. It's an Elf. It costs G. It doesn't give mana but it does help in emergencies. Never a dead card due to Cradle and Priest of Titania, I'd put its inclusion down to personal preference more than anything. Swap for Elvish Herder or whatever if you really want. If you really want, you could throw in some trample enablers; Brawn and whatnot, but it really doesn't need them. 6 6/6 wurms on turn 4 is usually enough for you to ignore trample altogether :P Sideboard- You decide, but I would suggest getting some Creeping Mold should any sort of mirror match situation arise. You could get frustrated by an opponent's Gaea's Cradle. Come November- Really doesn't lose much, The Llanowar Sentinels have to go, as do Quirion Ranger and Fyndhorn Elves, but who knows, maybe Onslaught might have something. Could be a solid deck.
