My thoughts on Odyssey are mixed. The set I think is OK but one ability I want to make a deck around is threshold. I found that green has the best threshold abilities and the best ways of getting cards you don't need into the graveyard. The first thing I am going to include in this deck is Nimble Mongoose, one because I love mongooses, weasels and ferrets and two because with threshold it is a little short of a Rampant Elephant. I found one card that accelerates Threshold and cleans out the deck is Rites of Spring. You discard cards that you don't need, grab lands that you may/may not need and throw them to a Wild Mongrel for additional cards in the graveyard. As I mentioned before Wild Mongrel works great in this deck because you pump it up by tossing away other cards in your hand. With the casting cost of two and being a 2/2 makes him a bear with a good ability. This has the potential of being a real card engine for the deck. Werebear provides subsequent mana acceleration and with threshold provides good beef. With so many cards in your graveyard without flashback you don't want them just sitting there all game so any extra cards you can use to your advantage with Bearscape. I like the idea of pumping out so many 2/2's my opponents can't handle it. Of course as in any green weenie deck you'll need some pump up... Overrun works for me, talk about fun, "I'll attack you for 40 damage"..."with trample". So here we go... Creatures (20): 4 Llanowar Elves 4 BoP 4 Werebear 4 Wild Mongrel 4 Nimble Mongoose Instants/Sorceries (16): 4 Rites of Spring 4 Roar of the Wurm 4 Overrun 4 Beast Attack Enchantments (4): 4 Bearscape Lands (20): 20 Forest The sideboard should be anti flying and some enchantment removal, by the way you could splash black so you could capitalize on Zombie Infestation.
