Last Rites: Sorcery 2B Set Odyssey

Discard any number of cards from your hand.  Target player reveals his or her hand, then you choose a nonland card from it for each card discarded this way.  That player discards those cards.

Confessor: Creature Cleric W Set Odyssey

Whenever a player discards a card form his or her hand, you may gain that 1 life.

This combo, though simple, is very neat.  U gain the life for every card u discarded when u play Last Rites, plus u get the life for ever card ur opponent has to discard as the affect of the spell!  You can do this with any other Rites card but u wont gain as much life b/c this is the only one that makes an opponent discard as well.
