3B Creature- minion rat B, Discard a card from your hand: regenerate Dirty Wererat. Threshold-- Dirty Wererat gets +2/+2 and can't block. 2/3 Odyssey, Common Not to shabby of a card to begin with. threshold definatly helps. the drawback of not being able to block isn't that bad when you have a 4/5 regenerator out. you opponent will have to do something about it or they'll be dead in 5 turns. Black, white and green i think got the best ouut of Odyssey. Black weenie could be popular with soul burn, Do or Die and Tsabo's Decree from Invasion. When splashed with red or blue most B/anything decks are a force to be reckoned with. Other Odyssey cards such as Painbringer and Rotting Giant work great in constructed. I decided to make a T1 B/R deck using Odyssey that worked on gettign my graveyard full, but not for threshold but for paying the cost of abilities that involve removing cards in my graveyard from the game. I used Firestorm and some other means of discard on my self to make cards like Painbringer's ability more easy to use. Dirty Wererat fit into the deck greatly because when threshold was easily reached it dominated most of my opponent's creatures. And plus, the picture looks cool and this is the first time i had ever heard of a minion rat. The release of Odyssey has marked a time when all formats from T2 to extended are effected by new cards. The synergy of some cards with older ones is amazing. I encourage everybody to not only think about T2 but the other formats as well, because that is where i expect to see most of the action this year. Think about it
