Subject: Buried Alive Single Card Strategies

Buried Alive was conned when it came out with weatherlight.  The 'Living 
Death' deck brought new life to it.  And with its return to standard with 
odyssey, it sees many new uses with Threshold.  But, its not just threshold.  
Lets see what other cards benefit from Buried Alive:

1. Mirari- The ultimate threshold combo.  6 Cards in graveyard with 6 mana, 
only 1 color.  Access INstant Threshold this way, without fear, unlike 
Traumatize.  Hello, Rempatent Vampire!

2. Mortivore- DUH!  This is obvious!  Just read the 2 cards.  Basically, a 
permanent +3/+3.  Mirari's out there as well!

3. Fuel Psychatog- It helps in Atog decks to give the bonus to an atog before 
atogatog.  Dumping Creatures gives Psychatog a huge bonus.

4. in extended, u can still use living death, or for cheap, excise.  Just 
think... Buried Alive (damn dark ritual banned) then excise the Avatar of Woe 
for game over.

5. Volrath's Shapeshifter- Anoter extended move, once again with Avatar of 
Woe, and wait for excise to put the avatar of woe in play and have the 
shapeshifter become... ANOTHER AVATAR OF WOE!  (if u can afford it, of course)

Following Necropotence, Sacromancy and Vampiric Tutor, A conned card becomes 
the center of a deck.  (notice all three are cheap black spells?)
