suffer the little creatures squirrel deck deck list: (60 cards) 1 Vitalizing Wind 4 Squirrel Mob 2 Druid's Call 4 Deranged Hermit 2 Acorn Harvest 4 Chatter of the Squirrel 4 Seeker of Skybreak 1 Erratic Portal 1 Parallel Evolution 2 Nut Collector 3 Squirrel Wrangler 1 Keldon Battlewagon 2 Overrun 3 Vine Trellis 1 Squirrel Nest 1 Epic Struggle 1 Thran Foundry 1 Kamahl, Fist of Krosa 2 Silklash Spider 20 forest lands This is a fast-moving deck that allows for late-game dominance as well. For such an odd premise it is VERY effective. The Silklash Spiders allow you to dominate in the air, while the multiple squirrel-summoning cards allow you to get out many small creatures quickly so you can hit early. The staples of this deck are Nut Collector and Deranged Hermit. The Hermit summons 4 squirrels upon its summoning, and the Nut Collector puts 1 1/1 squirrel into play every upkeep, with a threshold ability that gives all squirrels +2/+2. Early in the game you can use Seeker of Skybreak to untap attacking creatures, negating their attacks. Later in the game, you can use them to untap Vine Trellis so you can use its mana-producing ability multiple times (very effective in summoning higher-cost creatures with little land). The coup-de-grace is Overrun or Vitalizing Wind. Overrun is a sorcery that is also Kamahl, Fist of Krosa's special ability: 2 and 3 forest, give all creatures on your side of the field +3/+3 and trample. With 10, 15, 20 or more squirrels, they get deadly FAST. Vitalizing Wind is even more powerful: 8 and 1 forest, give all creatures on your side of the field +7/+7. VERY VERY deadly squirrels. If you get desperate, tap lots of squirrels to make Keldon Battlewagon VERY strong, or just play Epic Struggle and you'll win within a turn or two, most likely. Thran Foundry is mostly to get back Kamahl or Vitalizing Wind. This deck has beaten powerful decks many a time. I haven't used it in a tournament, but I can't imagine it doing too badly. ===== The Lord bless thee, the Lord keep thee. Make His face to shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee.
