Origins Team Sealed Event. Wow, was it interesting. 99% of the people who entered hated it. I think me and my team mate, mystereeman101, were the only ones who actually like the format. Why? One word.

Togepi.

In fact, when they asked for comments about the format, psychodad taped two togepi cards to a peice of paper, wrote "I pwn you fool" on one and "I own Team" on the other, and turned it in. Yes, Togepi was the most broken card in team HL sealed, followed closely by Jigglypuff/Wigglytuff EX, Snow Cloud Castform, and Spheal. What do these cards have in common? Sleep. All of these cards can put one or both defending Pokemon to sleep for 1-2 enegies. Togepi is the most broken, as it puts both to sleep for 1 energy. I think the only people who liked these cards were the ones using them. Me and my partner together had 1 Jigglypuff, 1 Wigglytuff EX, 2 Snow Cloud Castform, and 2 Spheal. This obviously made us like the format, go 4-1, and get 4th. You're probably wondering why Sleep is broken. You can only flip to wake up after your and your partner's turn. So if Team 1's player A put Team 2's Player A to sleep, it would automatically HAVE to be asleep for at least one turn. Yes, this event was dominated by sleep. I do not remember most of our opponents, but I know we faced Hyper Eevee and his friend in one round(I think round 3), and our own friends, ShukuenShinobi and Ron13, in round 4(They beat us). Poison was also impacted, but for the worse. You only took Poison damage after you and your partner's turn. Another bad thing, you could not play trainers for your opponent. With the popularity of sleep, here was one overused quote; "Whoever goes first wins." Yes, that quote and the word Togepi sum up the Origins Team Sealed Event.
