I wake up to 6+ inches of snow outside but we decide to keep going as it is only lake effect snow. Once we get out of the area it should be fine. Eventually we pick everyone up and get going, using about 45 minutes of the extra hour we had alotted ourselves. Things go smoothly until we hit a traffic jam. Chris calls the tournament site to let them know that we will be late. Finally we make it there and scramble to fill out decklists. As Fulop has already posted here is what everyone played:

Round 1 vs Rich w/Zapdos
He gets the normal zappy start while I have a hand with no draw. I evolve my larvitar to pupitar and go for the t2 ttar. Tails. He draws and goes for the dual ball. Two tails. I topdeck a Rocket ball and ttar pretty much cleans house.

Round 2 vs John w/ttar
He mulligans a couple times before getting a larvitar. I attach to mareep and grab an energy. He attaches and does 20. I rare candy into amphy and do 30. Next turn he candies into ttar and KO's me with a R energy for game.

Round 3 vs ??? w/draggy
We both get pretty terrible starts. I sit for awhile with an active Ttar and grab a couple of easy prizes. Eventually he starts to comeback with a Dragonite. His play area is an Electrode with 3 darks,a dunsparce and an active dragonite. He KOs my active tyranitar and I bring up my benched one, KOing his dunsparce in the process. I warp point bringing up his trode, which my amphy KOs. After that it is pretty much downhill for him.

Round 4 vs Tom w/Draggy
We both get slow starts and play slowly too. The game has very little action with me taking 2 prizes off KOed basics on his bench. My only other prize comes from an Amphy KOing a Dragonite. Tom KOs a dunsparce, a Ttar and a amphy. With two minutes left I use copycat decking myself. However I use my full two minutes of shuffling allowed and time is called. The next turn I would have decked and Tom would have went up on prizes. Gotta love POP's rules.

In sudden death he starts with a dratini while I have mareep. I candy into flaffy to avoid any Dragonite KOs with R energy. He evolves into Dragonair and passes it back to me. Next turn I evolve, Copy and get the DRE I need to win.

Of course I come in 5th on Tie-Breakers though and am the only 3-1 to miss the cut. I don't mind though because I did lose 2nd round. David, Tom, Rich and I play some Poker while we wait for Fulop and Mike. Eventually Fulop wins and we begin the long ride home. We stop at KFC on the way home for some grub. Sam calls too. Once I get home and everyone finally leaves, I crash.
