I decided to play him because i quit pokemon actually, and all my good rare pokemon we're either banned, or not in modified... Dis Deck actually did me good. In two tournaments ( 1/4/03 and 1/11/03) i placed first place in both... not bad for a person who quit and got back into it... i guess dis main theme is Arcanine surrounded by free retreats (babiez)... u gotta luv em... Nothing but healing as well... if u wanna add a lil more healing take away the trader and add a healing field... dat will do good.. i reconstucted dis deck about 4 times til' i found dis killing machine...

we had 16 players.. and the top 8 in a swiss round would make it to single elimination.. we played 3 games.. and i won 2-1... i dont think its important to write about.. ill juss write bout the Top 8 Player Single Elimination Match
the person i lost to was a friend hoo wanted a rematch.... he had the best record too.. but he was eliminated in the 8 man elimination... i was hoping to meet him in the finals
1/4/03-  6-1 (i got a free bye, so its actually 5-1-1)
1/11/03- 5-1

1st round:
MVP vs Brandon
Belive it or not, a kid younger than 8 made it to the top 8... i was kinda worried, iono how he passed the other competitiors... well i started off with a cleffa and elekid in my hand.. he had a pikachu.. i drew elm threw out growlithe, and attached a fire to cleffa.. i den eek'd... he attached an energy to pikachu and benched a rocket zapdos... he knocked out my cleffa with quick attack... next i attached gold berry, steal energy and evolved my growlite... i had the energies in my hand, so i stalled with elekid killing off the pikachu... when arcanine came up, dere was no chance... he mananged to weakin it but a 2nd was on its way... (30 min time limit)

2nd round (semi-finals)
MVP vs Golem deck
i started with a tyrouge.. but he mulled, so i drew a growlite and fire energy... he finally benched a geodude... but i had all the key parts to arcanine.... i dropped elekid and elmmed, finding a better hand for 2nd turn... dis game kept dragging out, because i couldn't kill the baby pokemon he played... but with the long game going i had all 4 arcanines out! hehe, since he had no way of winning he juss brought out an electabuzz and let me knock it out with a take down... (30 min time limit)

3rd round (finals)
MVP vs Matt
dis guy, a good friend.. he also brought me back to pokemon... i met him in the finals for a 2nd time... the previous week as well... we both played the same deck.. his venusuar/meganium/eggsecutor vs my arcanine.. wut do u think the out come was? fire dominated the first time we met.. the 2nd time he had cleffa, i had tyrouge... 2 lucky flips i win.. we went to go eat after wards.. lolz...
