I used to have 1 Apricorn Forest instead of the Lucky Stadium, but when they gave me the free promo, I couldn't resist.  And it proved pretty lucky:)  When I first got there, I playtested my deck against the guy who won it, and lost, so I don't feel to bad about coming in second.
Round 1 vs Hitmonchan/Steelix
When we first started, I found out that I could retreat Wartortle, then switch back and keep using his attack, so that was a first.  Anyway, he started with 2 Hitmonchan and a Gligar, I started with a Cleffa active and a squirtle benched.  I started by attaching Water to Squirtle, equipping Gold Berry, then passing.  He attached to the Gligar, tried to attack, failed.  I evolved to Wartortle, attached water, used Giant Wave, he tried to poison, failed.  Then I just continued to use Giant Wave, then retreat with a recycle, till he got a Steelix up, but by then time had run out, so I won by prizes.

Round 2 vs Marowak/Tyranitar/Nidoking
This one was a tough battle, because I didn't get a Wartortle.  Fourth turn he had an Aquapolis Nidoking fully powered, and I had a tyrogue and 3 Squirtle.  Turned out I had 3 Wartortle in prizes.

Round 3 vs Venusaur
This one wasn't as tough, since by this time I was in the bottom 10 players.  I started with squirtle, he with bulbasaur, i got Wartortle second turn, and owned the game.

Round 4 vs Venusaur/Meganium
There seemed to be a lot of people playing Venusaur.  This one went pretty much the same way as the last one.

Round 5 vs Entei/Magcargo
At last!!  A fire deck!!  He started with 2 Slugma, I started with Squirtle, I attached to Squirtle, he attached to the benched Slugma, I double-gusted the benched Slugma, evolved to Wartortle, used Giant Wave, he sent up the other Slugma, and couldn't get anything, so I played Tyrogue, retreated with a recycle, then retreated back for the knockout and the game.

 Round 6 vs Kingdra/Omastar
Well,  they were going to do 7 rounds, but ran out of time, so this was the final round.  He started with a Cleffa and played a  Mysterious Fossil, then passed, I started with Tyrogue, played squirtle, Double-gusted for the Fossil, used Wave Splash to get rid of it, he used Fossil Egg, got an Omanyte, then passed.  I got Wartortle, used another double Gust on the Omanyte, then did 40 with giant Wave, he played a Horsea, used Omanyte's Poke-power to get another Omanyte, then passed.  I attached recycle to Wartortle, retreated, used Giant wave again, and continued like that till I had 4 Prizes he had none, but he had an Aquapolis Kingdra up.  He used Whirlpool, tails, I evolved to Blastoise, used Energy Cannon after activating the Gold berry, he used Whirlpool, tails again, I used Energy Cannon and another Gold Berry, He retreated and used Kingdra's Poke-power to attach the energy to Cleffa, then used Pokemon Cenetr and Whirlpool, I used Energy Cannon after attaching a Focus band, which came up heads, then he used his Focus Band, which also came up heads, and then he attached another band, whioch was also heads.  Anyway, he knocked out my Blastoise, but I sent up a Wartortle, and finished him, then he sent up Qwilfish, but couldn't do anything, so I won the game there.  
They decided not to do topp eight, so they just took the ratings as they were.  I came in second!  I got 12 Aquapolis boosters and a nifty Jumbo Electabuzz.  All in all, it was pretty fun.  Hope they do it again in May!!
