Let me begin by saying that I have never lost with this deck. I am signed up at the Pokemon League in Washington State and I have battled many other experienced players. I have also been the winner of two tournaments held there. One I remember more vividly:

Battle 1: Me vs. ?
(I won't go into this, because the first round was against some poor 6/7-year old kid with a pre-fabricated "Water Blast" deck. I do not derive pleasure from his utter mortification.)

Battle 2: Me vs. My brother, Donald
Starters: Electabuzz and Scyther/ Spearow and Jigglypuff
Spearow: peck 'Buzz: Thundershock (paralyzed)
Spearow: X [evolves Jigglypuff, plays "Challenge" and I decline. Plays Venonat on the bench] 'Buzz: Thunderpunch (10 to self)
Wigglytuff: Do the Wave (for 20) 'Buzz: [play Bill, bench Scyther, bench Electabuzz, Gust of Wind for Venonat] Thunderpunch (10 to self)
Venonat: [plays "Challenge" and I decline. Plays Professor Oak] Stun Spore (paralyzed) 'Buzz: X
Venonat: [evolves into Venomoth] Venom Powder (confused and poisoned) 'Buzz: Thunderpunch (??????-heads) (10 to self, knocked out) [promote Scyther due to zero retreat cost]
Venomoth: Venom Powder (tails)
Scyther: Swords Dance
Venomoth: Venom Powder (tails)
Scyther: [PlusPower] Slash [promote Wigglytuff] Wigglytuff: Lulabye [fails to wake up]
Scyther: X [wakes up] Wigglytuff: [plays Exeggcute,] Do the Wave
Scyther: Slash  Wigglytuff: Do the Wave
Scyther: [retreat for Electabuzz] Thundershock (paralyzed) Wigglytuff: X
'Buzz: Thunderpunch (heads) [promotes exeggcute] Exeggcute: Psyshock (tails)
'Buzz: Thunderpunch (heads)           VICTORY

Battle 3: Me vs. [some grown-up who plays Espeon]
Starters: Scyther, Scyther, Electabuzz/Pikachu [movie promo], Eevee [the one with Energy Evolution"
Pikachu: Recharge Scyther: [Energy Removal] Swords Dance
Pikachu: [evolves pikachu into Revelation Raichu] Thundershock (paralyzed)
Scyther: X Raichu: [plays Professor Elm, tries to play Bill, but I remind him that he can't] (uses second attack, promote for Scyther) Scyther [Gust of Wind for Eevee] Slash (promotes Raichu) Raichu: X Scyther: [retreat for Electabuzz, Energy Removal on Raichu] Thundershock (paralyzed) Raichu: [benches Eevee, plays energy on Eevee and evolves into Espeon] X 'Buzz: [Gust of wind for Espeon] Thunderpunch (10 to self) Espeon: Quick Attack (heads) 'Buzz: [PlusPower] Thunderpunch (heads, promotes Raichu) Raichu: X 'Buzz: [Energy Removal on Raichu] Thunderpunch (10 to self) Raichu: X 'Buzz: Thunderpunch (heads) Raichu: Thundershock (tails) 'Buzz: Thundershock                VICTORY

There were really only that many matches. I won a Legendary Set "Big" Dark Raichu. I honestly can't remember all the trainer cards that were played, so I put in as many as I could. I do, however, remember that Misty's Duel had saved my butt more than once. If you read [past-tense] this, thanks a lot for doing so.
