This is an Apprentice tournie i entered and got pretty lucky in. It was 3 rounds swiss..any pokemon, trainer etc. that was capable of putting something to sleep was banned and Slowking was also banned.

The first round was a bye.. (lucky me)

The second round was against a Steelix/R's Zapdos deck.

Anyway he goes first, he opens with Onix with R's Zappy on his bench, i have R's zappy active and Pidgey benched. He attaches metal to SI Onix and Lasses me and gets my oak and healing fields and lass. I have Pidgeotto and Pidgeot in hand. I draw Cleffa and no energy, and pass.

He evolves to Steelix attaches  Lighting and tackles for 20, I draw energy and put on cleffa and evolve pidgey, i did this because if attached to zappy im doing a puny 10 and no energy in discard. I dont rememeber too well what happened after that though, however i switched that zappy not much later and used pidgeot's power to put it into my deck, and had anotehr benched and start charging that one up with plasma,

I eventually shuffled that into my deck too with much frustration with his SER, he kept Tackling though. I SER him at one point, and then eventually (gee i use that a lot) got one zappy out with healing fields and 2 benched PIdgeot's and kept burning him with 3 electric recycle and a metal and healing fields helped keep him alive. I ko'ed Steelix and his Zappy and kept it alive, and he played an Onix and time was called.. i drew 2 prizes he didnt get any.. we played on a bit longer for fun, and he got cleffa and i ko'ed onix but we had to move to the final round..

Final Round.. This was really the high point of my luck...

I win the roll, he plays Clefairy, I place Tyrogue active and R's Zappy benched, Smash Punch heads.. I win... through the most luckiest of things ever. Although the 2nd game was hard, cus of SER, but thankfully i keep my opponent prizeless with Pidgeot.. Anyways thats my first online tournie win, and better yet i did with an original deck YAH!
