Well. this was the nerver-wrecking time. We were all tired, and another was trying to make me more nervous in the truck by dismantling my whole gatr and building some crappy electric that went nowhere. MY other friend was like...whoa...I hope I don't face tons of Psychic decks...[Note: He ended up playing 4 of them. Good luck, eh?] So I needed some Good Luck music beforehand, so I popped in my Sum 41 CD and listened to it on my CD player. We finally arrived. It was a really big store, we were meeting some new people, [Like mr. SuperSheep7, We met him before the games started, nice guy, i'll explain our battle later.] Anyway, I met some old friends, too. Like Fritz, from Dallas. We'd met at the Dallas QT several years ago, back when Haymaker was popular. Yeah, pretty long. I beat him there. Nice guy. And I met Kakkoroto7 from IRC and his good friend Muk007, really elite guy, and I had fun battling him, that'll come later. Anyway, Here's my report. I had fun.

Murkrow had tons of effects on this game. He got the very early advantage with my stallings of Baby Pokemon, He got 2 Miltanks out and Starting Body Slamming me over and over and kept getting heads, I was getting mad. I thought I was doomed man, a replay of the QT in Lincoln last time except that I WON my first match and that it wasn't against the Winner of the Tournament. Anyway, I got really mad and trapped his Cleffa, I then proceded to pick off his miltanks, I ended up with 20 on each of them. Then here comes the big guy... He got out a feraligatr. I thought, "Oh crap, Oh crap, it's over now. Two powered Miltanks and a gatr. It's all over, my chances are gone." Well someone tell me that i'm almost never right? I got two Erika's Bells out and Murkrow got one hit on Gatr for 20. I started using Fragrance Trap Bringing out gatr, killing it, and then of course the Miltanks, leaving him defenseless, and away with the win.

Whoa...Finally.. The big guy. The amazing thing is that, I was the only guy to beat him ALL day, and he's pretty good, especially with a DCI Ranking of 165, whoa. He ended up winning the tournament, but hey, This was a GREAT match. Very. Very. Very. Acctually, for him, it wasn't. He couldn't get out ONE gatr. He kept Elming, Wrathing, and even Trash Exchanging, but everytime he got out a Croconaw, I was like, "Dude, don't even try it, lol." and he was like, "Yeah..." He was pretty bummed about this match, and I admit, The dice were on MY SIDE for this match[And I assure you, this match alone.] and he just couldn't get Focus Bands, or anything to work. If he would've got early Feraligatr this probably would be an even match, but due to my 2 Early Erika's Bells that wouldn't have gotten very far. Gatr has no chance against Bell, it's too good. I admit, again, the dice helped me with this match. He was a nice guy though, a very nice guy, and politeful. He also had a pretty good deck, it's just he couldn't get anything, lol. I respect him for that, and good luck in the future, talk to ya on AIM. Anyway, I won.

My friend at this point wanted to go see the Scorpion King in the movie theater entrence in the lobby type thing of the store, but they were all sold out. Lol@him.

THIS MATCH WAS GREAT!!!!! I loved it, I seriously did. He was a really nice guy, VERY nice guy, and VERY FUNNY. lol. Yeah, Nice guy, Have him on my AIM list, anyway, on to the match. This was a funny Match, just the 'loosten-up' match of the tourney. We both had alot of fun, and I laughed like heck, but he couldn't get anything. He had like Zubats out, I kept picking them off, over, and over, It got pretty disturbing. He killed one baby the whole game, But when I got Triple Bells out, he had nothing. He ended up decking himself and getting a crobat out like the last turn. He flipped his prizes at the end to find out 2 crobats were in there. I started cracking up, literally, rolling on the floor laughing. This match was nowhere close for him due to his Crobat crisis. I feel for ya, man. Seriously, I do. This guy was really elite, he 0wnZ most of you, he is cool, shall I put it in about a hundred different ways? Didn't think so. Hey, WHO SAID YES?!

Whoa, last round until Top 8. I'm tied for first, this is the best rank i've acheived in a tournament of this rank. Whoa, I'm nervous, but I know he's playing Feraligatr. So That gives me relief, we're both friends, so that gives me more relief. This match was easier than I'd expected. He had two totodiles out and just couldn't beat my Bellsprout. I got two grass on and started killing off his totodiles. He didn't get a basic, so that had meant i'd won the game. Quick Match. Great guy. Wow, i'm first place going into the Top 8! w00t w00t! But needless to say, i'm about to get the boot. Wheeeee!

This match was HARD TO THE HUNDRETH DEGREE. I hated it. Nerve-Wrecking. This guy wasn't very nice. I was trying to be all serious, and friendly, but this dude was like, "Hate, Hate, Hate, I'll get a Crobat out really fast and Destroy this dude, MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA, He thinks he's all that! Yeah Right!" You're right, I am all that. Atleast I have a friendly attitude, this dude has attitude problems or is like really disturbed or has tons of issues. Dunno. I won this match by guts, and maybe because of my hate for him being a jerk to me even though I was trying to be nice. Anyway, he got out liek 2 fast Crobats and I had a horrible hand, but eventually by stalling with Babies, he got some lucky flips and I thought It was over, I got out a bell and I used Fragrance Trap and I knocked out his Murkrow, and he was like, "Good Game..." And I was like, "Huh? What're you talking about?" and I then looked down and realized I had one prize left. Whoa. Go me. And that dude still has an Attitude Problem, the crobat players are either nice and funny or cruel and evil. Anyway, I win. As I say on IRC sometimes... w00t w00t here comes the b00t. Well, here ya go.

Well, Here's the end of the tournament. DIE-HAND-DIE-HAND. No elms, No NOTHING. Absolutely NOTHING. Resistance Gym, 5 Grass, and a Murkrow. I swear to god, this game was crap. He got Early Gatr out. Very early. 3rd Turn early. Wrath'd, Elm'd, You name it. I hated this match. Hated it. Hated it. He ended up killing my lone Murkrow. I hated this match, again, I hated it. I lsot so badly, It wasn't funny. Here ends my journey.

By a crappy Hand. I wish I had ONE MORE GAME, I would've won. Muk[David] Ended up taking it all. Beating Fritz in the Finals, he was facing a Beedrill deck, and won in the Semi's, So I could've taken him out, and won. But didn't. ALL BECAUSE OF MY HAND. But heck, I had fun!! And that's the whole point, eh? Met some new people, Met some really cool people, Saw Fritz again, and got some AIM names, And had alot of fun. Oh yeah, also, I totally got Sweetness Boosters. Like 18 Shining/Holo cards in 24 Packs! Whoa! Alltime High! I got to say I got #1 at a major tournament. My friends were like..."Whoa, good job Ted, I didn't think you'd get this far!" And too bad Jimmy didn't get into the Semi-Finals, he was a cool guy. I have his Aim, I'm happeh. We still talk and all, but anyway, I had fun, again. I'd also liek to thank everyone for coming and showing up even if you didn't win. I admired people a long time ago, now I found myself in that Top 8 Place..It sure feels good to like be on top once-in-awhile.
