The rules for this tourney were B-TR no Chansey, Chan, Buzz, or Blastoise.
Pretty much the same rules as the tourney I won last night except for no Chan.
I run the same deck which won the tourney for me last night, except taking out
4 Chan and 8 Fighting for 4 Promo Mewtwo and 8 Psychic.

Round 1 vs PojosamaWannabe w/ Dodrio?
I have a
Jiggly active and Mewtwo benched. He has a lone Doduo. I go first, attach a
DCE, and Oak trying to get the FTKO. My next hand ends up with no PP or CPU so
I decide to give up on the FTKO, not wanting to Oak away again. I RSA an Oak
and pound for 20. He draws and Oaks, but then I realize that he never shuffled
so he puts everything back and draws.... A Doduo ;x. He benches it a Swipes for
20. I evolve, attach DCE, and KO Doduo. He draws and can't do anything so I
win. Using his word selection as a clue I could tell he was pretty pissed.
Afterwards he realized he forgot to add Bill so he withdrew from the tourney.
Round 2 vs jermy101 w/ Wigglytuff
Last night
we each ran the same thing and today we each switched Chan for Mewtwo, but
again I got the better of jermy101. I mulligan a few times again but go first.
He has a Scy and I have Ditto. I RSA a CPU Search and he never got going. I was
able to remove the energy he put down and Oak when I needed to. Eventually I
got a Wiggly up and running and he could never draw anything useful. I Gusted
out an energized Jiggly for the kill. Then I added PP to kill Scyther. I Item
Findered for another Pluspower and killed his last Pokemon, a Mewtwo. I had
completed my 2 upmatches and moved up to about 13th on the ladder. Now I just
have to keep winning and don't get any more upmatches.
Round 3 vs DarkWizard w/ Magmar and Scyther
This was a
very close game that went down to the wire. Unfortunately, I lost and don't
remember that much about it. I forgot to save the log for this one. I can
remember us each trading removals back and forth, but Wigglytuff only got out
once and was SER'd before it could release the turmoil. It got killed and
Magmar got the upper hand on my Scyther army. Smokescreen kept my other guys at
bay. Close to the end I realized that my only hope at victory was to deck him.
I had out a Ditto vs his Magmar. I had just killed a Scyther that was beating
up all my guys. I SERd what he put down but there was always another fire
energy. When he had about 5 cards left I actually forgot to smokescreen with
Ditto, and I was quickly smoged. The next turn I did a smokescreen but he got
through it and won. Very good game and give a lot of credit to DarkWizard (He
ended up tied for second with me after losing to dendrobatida in the finals)
Round 4 vs PranKster w/ Wigglytuff
I get off
to a great start RSAing every trainer he has, leaving him with only some
energy. He plays a Challenge and we load our benches. The next turn I
Oak and CPU Search to get out Wiggly and kill his active magmar w/ a PP. He
still only has 1 card in hand. The next three turns he still has nothing while
I gust out jiggly and kill it, gust another Jiggly and kill it, and then add a
PP to kill scyther. For my last prize I gust out a Ditto, retreat for Mewtwo,
and Psyburn for the win.
Overall a
great tournament. I got my two upmatches and moved to 13th. I will have a lot
more reports coming at you for each tourney this week.
