This is my first deck
report in a very long time. I've been testing a lot of decks and it
seems like Slowking is the best if you can get a good set up. So I asked my
parents if I could enter the tournament and after a talk they said yes. >:) I
entered the tournament at the last minute and didn't expect to do very good. A
few days before CRIMINAL gave my Slowking deck a fix for the standard
environment and thats what I used today.

There's the
deck. I think it has just about everything necessary for a Slowking/Sneasel
deck. Now, I'll just do a quick little strategy so if you don't want the
strategy just skip ahead to the matches :).
|STRATEGY|
Set up is the hardest
thing to do in a Slowking deck and sometimes if you can't set up you lose. I
used to only run CPU Search/Professor Oak for my card drawing but I soon
discovered that WAS NOT enough card drawing. So I removed an Item Finder
and a Lass for two Professor Elm and it works great. So maybe the average
hand would be a Cleffa and Slowpoke for starting Pokemon (thats what I usually
get) you'll want to drop as many Slowpokes as possible and then try
for Lass/Eeeeeeek evolve the Slowpokes and charge up a Sneasel while
they cant play trainers. Scyther is good back-up and Murkrow can win the
game for you. If you cant seem to charge up a Sneasel or they have
something good to Mean Look do it. It will win the game. Mean look a
Scyther, Cleffa, Unown, any baby pokemon, any Psychic pokemon. If the
pokemon is capable of KOing Murkrow SER it constantly while picking
off the bench. Here are the matches.
ROUND 1: Zapdos2000 vs
DanHerzog
A pretty quick
game. He's playing a Blaine deck and I go through all his Pokemon with
Sneasel. He never drew a prize.

ROUND 2: Zapdos2000 vs
RS
This ended up to be a
very long game. He's playing anti-king
(Electabuzz/R.Zapdos/Scyther/Igglybuff) I almost win in the beginning, getting 2
Slowkings and taking 2 prizes. He was down to 1 Rocket Zapdos when I beat
up with 4 tails. >_< The game drags on as he SERS my sneasels and
hits me with Electabuzz. At the very end I needed one more prize. So
did he. I sent up my Sneasel and beat up, if i dont get at least 3 heads I
lost. Tails,Tails,Heads,Tails,Heads, Heads! I come out with the
win

ROUND 3: Zapdos2000 vs

A stupid game.
I go first and all he has is Igglybuff. I set up almost perfectly to
secure a win if I dont kill his Igglybuff, but I do with Fury Swipes. Heads,
Tails, Heads, Heads.

ROUND 4: Zapdos2000 vs

A close game.
He's playing Wiggly haymaker, the first maybe 6 turns were stalemate. We just
Eeeeeeeked and tried to establish someting. I finally got some Kings and
killed some Igglybuffs with Pichu. He wiped out 2 Sneasels with Wiggly and
I CPU Search for: SPROUT TOWER! =D I get 50 damage on BOTH Wigglytuffs and
he finally gets a counter gym, but he cant attack becaue of SER. I Item
finder for Sprout Tower again and eventually KO everything with
Sneasel

FINALS: Zapdos2000 vs
Thunderboltzz
o_O I should have
lost this game. He starts out with a lone igglybuff and I fail to kill
it. He draws another Igglybuff and I still cant KO them. I drop 2
kings but they are useless. He gets Oak before I do and its downhill from
there. Electabuzz is killing me. I get a Sneasel charged and he
brings out an Electabuzz and kills it. Towards the end I have 3 prizes
left and he only needs 2. I lock his Scyther with Murkrow and attack both
Igglybuff with Feint Attack. He finally kills Murkrow and only needs one
more prize. I send Pichu and Zzzap both Igglybuffs down. He slashes
with TAILS! YES! =\ So I lay a Recycle Energy on my Scyther with 40 damage
and send out Slowking. He Slashes it. My turn I lay a DCE on
Scyther, play Switch, send out Scyther Gust of Wind Tyrogue and slash. If
I get heads I win if tails he will send out scyther and kill me. Slash,
HEADS I WIN!!!!!! >=D. What a close game.
5-0, won the
tournament.
This tournament
helped my Skill Rating and Ranking A LOT. I'm 11th with a record of
73-34.
