I havent seen any of my brothers in a while, and out of the blue I was wrapped 
in my blanket and thrown in the backseat of a ford escort and when I was 
let out I was at the store. Tables were set up inside(5). I didnt have a 
deck, but they brought every binder we own. The format: modified. It's my 
best format, but I had no deck. My trusted gatr was sitting at home and I 
wasnt fealing comfortable. The I just said: Who needs gatr? (yes I do realise 
I kinda copied the deck, but its a good deck)

Strategy:
get cleffa out, eeking of possible. get a slugma with a focus down and 
howl with entei. save capsules till U can get 4 fire and an entei, or 
4 fire and something else(not and again). Early Game: get magcargo out 
with a howl on turn 2 or 3 and KO whatev er big pokes they got. Late 
Game: stack deck with fire and howl till magcargo's presense is well 
established and then kill whatever they got down.

The tourney was for some small cash prize, I think like 10 bucks canadian, 
but I gave it back to the store.

The setup was 4 people to a table, everyone plays everyone at their table, 
then the winners of each table play single-elim.

Table Match 1: Jeff Bertrand
he ran a mono-metal with only 2 cleffa. I killed everything with enteis, 
and won on turn 5 or 6.

Table Match 2: Bobby Faucet
he wasnt payin much attention, cuz he flipped twice for slowking the 
whole game. he only got 2 pumped attackers which were only murkrows. 
I won when I cleared his 3 kings off the bench after the krows went down.

Table Match 3: Darren Something(never met the kid before)
he was one of the best matches I played in a while. he ran gatr, and 
had me by the neck, but he got tails on every focus flip(he got heads 
on every baby flip, so it evens out). I had to take down 3 of the silly 
things, and then I won when time was called.

Since it was an odd-numbered group, there was a wildcard spot. some kid 
who went home got it, so they just gave me a bye, and I ended up in the 
finals somehow(I dunno how it worked, something to do with points)

Final VS Tim Van Winkle
this kid looked like a leprachaun, and kept doing immitations of timmy 
from south park. anyway...
he ran a dark gatr, and got my first mag with dark croc the turn after 
I  cooked his cleffa. I got the croc and a unown D, then I got a pichu 
with entei. he had a totodile I had an entei. entei had 70 damage and a 
focus, it's his turn. swipes: 3 heads(eep). I had 2 fire on the entei and 
no bench. if I get heads I attach a fire and win. if I get tails I lose.

I flip:.......................HEADS!

I won with a showstopper. then we traded decks and played for fun, and 
I still won.
