Feralisect Deck by Sicarius Dracus Pokemon Tournament at Towne West Mall: Wichita, Kansas 24 participants Nov 3, 2001-- 10am to 3pm With the set of Neo Revelation coming out in time for the tourney, I came upon the decision that I needed to update my Feraligator deck to make it faster an more powerful. First, the deck: ----- 19 Pokemon 4 Totodile (level 8, Genesis) 4 Croconaw (level 34, Genesis) 3 Feraligatr (level 69, Genesis) 2 Paras (Revelation) 2 Parasect (Revelation) 2 Cleffa (Genesis) 2 Elekid (Genesis) 21 Trainers 4 Misty's Wrath 4 Master Ball 4 Trash Exchange 3 Erika 4 Gold Berry 2 Healing Fields 20 Water Energy ----- Everyone knows that monstrosity known as Feraligator, right? Well, this adds to it. Parasect KEEPS the water energy from leaving the discard pile, and so you can keep trashing them horribly. Through many of my games, I annhilated many of my opponents very quickly because they could not stand up to the constant 120 damage that I did to them. This tourney was open format (excluding foreign cards) with 6 prizes and one game. Entry fee was 3.50. Round 1 vs. George's Charific Deck His deck was Dark Zard, Blaine's Zard, and Base Zard. I really felt sorry that he was doing that, but he did a good job with it. I pulled totodile and 2 master balls, which got me Paras and Croc. Then I got a Wrath and pulled 4 water, 2 Gator and a Fields. I was annoyed, but ditched the water and the gator. Evolved, Erika'd and 90 damaged my way to victory. 4 prizes vs his 0 prizes. 1-0 Round 2 vs. Coda's Unplugged Deck His deck consisted of removaling me. Didn't help, because it just served to fuel my gator. Hand was a cleffa and a whole bunch of water and an erika. Erika'd, Gazed, and eeked to pull out nothing. Depressed. Next turn I gazed again and pulled a beautiful hand. Along the way he dealt enough damage to almost faint Gator, but I had gold berries! 6 prizes to his 3 prizes. 2-0 Here we were given a break, because a kid had broken the no deck changing rule, and we decided to play the game over. (The kid lost twice in a row, the cheater.) Semi's vs. Nick's Permission Denied Deck It was odd, and I have no idea how he got to the semi's, because he didn't pull anything more than a slowpoke the entire game, even though I stalled for 6 turns. 1 prize to his 0 prizes. 3-0 Finals vs. Nate's Lockdown Deck. I feared this deck, because it was almost entirely grass, and Dark Vileplume hurts me. He's also a gymleader, and I fear his deck making skills. He's cool. He had decided to play (like me) with a RocketOn! deck that has Dark Plume, Piloswine (freeze), Smeargle, and Murkrow. I pulled an excellent hand with paras and toto, croc, and feral, and 2 erika. He played his swinub, and slept me (I didn't wake). For much of the game I was locked down, until I evolved into Feraligator (he pummelled my bench, while I charged up Croc.) Then I beat him into submission with a 60 damage riptide for the rest of the game. *sigh!* 6 prizes to his 5 prizes. YAY!!! After the game, Nate came up to me and asked for my league book, and he gave me 200 points for beating his deck and he congratulated me. I was really proud. 10 packs of Neo Revelation was my prize. After that, there was a Dark and Baby tourney, which I lost quickly in. :( Props to Gymleader Nate Moss for being cool to me. Props to Towne West League for holding the tourney. Props to Neo3, But then again... Slops for bad Translations. Slops to the kid who played with all of those VS. cards without sleeves. Slops to the kid who switched decks. You made us all wait. PROPS TO POJO, FOR HOSTING THIS WONDERFUL SITE THAT I GO TO FOR POKEMON! Sicarius Dracus, sicarius@hotmail.com
