Typhosion's Wrath

Hello everybody!  It is me Steel Houndoom.  I was in the QT at Neutral Grounds New York [Ten and Under Division] and I have my little report.  This deck may seem terrible but it worked perfectly for me.  I went to the QT with my friend Tom.  Well on to the deck:

Pokemon [21]
4, Cyndaquill [Fire Works]
4, Quilava [Char]
2, Typhosion [Fire Recharge
4, Blaine's Growlithe [Stoke]
1, Blaine's Arcanine
3, Cleffa
2, Slugma
1, Lugia [Non Holo]

Trainers [18]
4, Professor Elm
4, Master Ball
3, Erika
2, Gold Berry
2, Double Gust
3, Cinnabar City Gym

Energy [21]
21, Fire Energy

Strategy: Well to demolish your opponent basicly.  Use numerous Typhosion and try to blast your opponent quickly out of the game.

Round 1 Very Unfocused deck that uses Lightning, psychic and water with NO EVOULUTION!!

The actual game started an hour later than it was supposed to.  When it finnaly started I got out a Lugia and Typhosion and DEMOLISHED HIM!!!  The only pokemon who even knocked one of my pokemon out was a Misty's Tentacool [Crystal Beam] which KEPT FLIPPIN HEADS!  I knocked out all of his pokemon then.  I then gave him some pointers on how to improve his deck.
1-0

INBETWEEN ROUNDS
Well I first saw my friend Tom play and win his first match.  I'm not sure what the details are though but I know he won.  I did some trading and went looking for food.

Round 2 Psychic Deck
This round was one of the most fun.  First off he kept switching our damege counters around with his Rocket's Mewtwo untill I KOed him with Quilava.  Then I just plowed right through him with Typhosion.  I won.
2-0

INBETWEEN ROUNDS
This time Tom lost his match before I finished mine and both of us then were talking to this guy about Super Smash Bros. Malee.  Then my dad came and about 100 more people gagged about my Shining Charizard from Neo 4.

Round 3 Very Well Organized Typhosion/Blaine's Arcanine deck.
This was my second closest match of the day.  We both got two Typhosion and a Blaine's Arcanine and kept KOing eachother.  Then we both had 1 prize left.  The game was decided on a coin flip.  He had a Typhosion with 4 Energy and I had a Lugia with 4 Energy.  We both had 30 damege on eachother.  I had to flip for Aerowing.  I got tails and he won the game.

2-1

INBETWEEN ROUNDS
This time my dad finnaly came and Tom and I could have some lunch.  Tom won that round.  I then had to do my fourth match.

Round 4 Unfocused Typhosion and Gator deck with the only other pokemon Entie and Blaine's Moltres.
This was my easiest match of the day.  All he had was a Cyndaquill, a Totodile, and an Entie.  I easily won with my Blaine's Growlithe.

After the rest of the ten and under matches were finished it was time to find out who was in the top eight.  The top eight was the kid I played in the second round, the kid I lost to, me, a kid with a Gator, and the only kid to go 4-0 who played Gator.  My first match was against a Gator.  BTW I came in second place in swiss rounds.

This match was pretty easy.  He kept playing Misty's Seadra but I KOed them with Lugia.  Then I KOed all his Totodile and Croconaw so he could not get Gator out.  I won

Tom won his last match and he lost this match.  He was in the 11-14 division.

In the Semifinals I had probably the hardest match.  My opponent played Typhosion.  We kept KOing eachother untill he had one prize left I had 2.  I had a Cyndaqul out and he had a Blaine's Arcanine with 3 Fire Energy on it.  He had exactly 7 cards left in his deck.  In order to get the fire energy to kill me with Fire Storm he used Misty's Wrath and did not get a single fire energy.  I then won because he was decked.

Tom lost this round to a Gator deck.  It was then the Finals to the Typhosion deck I played earlier.

He forfetied.  He already won the trip so he did not need another one.  He also got a box insted of 24 packs.

I won this QT and got the trip and 24 Neo Genisis packs.  Tom did not make it into the top sixteen of his division so we went home.

PROPS:
Me having an incredible time
Me winning the tournement
The kid who bragged a lot [Gator 4-0] lost in the Quator Finals.
Me getting a ton of good cards.

SLOPS:
A ton of kids bragging
Tom coming in 24th place
Me having to endure a ton of crying by the kid who lost in the Quarter Finals [The Gator kid 4-0]

Overall I had a great time.  Tom's e-mail address is Washuu005@aol.com and mine is  BOBOBOBONCF@aol.com
