                                            About 20 people

Hi all, how are you PokeFanatics doin'? Well anyway, after the League
on Saturday I headed over to Out of This World Comics and signed up for the
tournament with my friend, Mike. I am using a new deck I made just a week
ago, based on one of the new "archetypes", the Lock.  At the league it did
very well, it never lost and got me the Zephyr Badge! Well, here's my deck:

Sneeze Lock
--Pokemon--
3 Sneasel
4 Slowpoke(Neo)
4 Slowking
2 Psyduck(Fossil)
3 Ditto
--Trainers--
4 Rocket's Sneak Attack
4 Proffesor Oak
4 Gold Berry
3 Computer Search
3 Gust of Wind
3 Scoop Up
2 Itemfinder
3 Ecogym
1 Nightly Garbage Run
--Energy--
4 Darkness
3 Rainbow
4 Double Colorless
6 Psychic

Strategy:

Start with Psyduck or Sneasel, Try to bench as many Slowpoke as you
have in your hand.  Charge up Sneasel or Psyduck, and attack with Headache or
Fury Swipes, witchever you have. Next turn try to get Slowkings out, and
fully charge Sneasel up with 2 Darkness or go with Ditto if ya can't get
Sneasel.  Then fire away at them with Beat Up and watch your opponent wail!

In the tournament, the rules were single elimination and no japenese cards.

Round 1: Sneeze Lock vs. Kid with an Unusual Haymaker
OK, started with Sneasel, an Oak, 2 Darkness, 2 Slowpoke, and a
Psychic Energy.  Good Hand. Put Sneasel as active and benched the Slowpokes.
He won the flip and had MP Mewtwo out with Pikachu on bench. Pikachu!? He
attaches electric to Pika and let's me go. I charge Sneasel up with Darkness,
and Fury Swipe him. It does 30 to him.   He adds another electric energy to
Pikachu and Oaks. He let's me go.  I attach another Darkness, Oak, and get 1
Slowking, 2 Ditto, 1 Psyduck, and a DCE. I evolve Slowpoke, and play
everyone. I beat up for 80 and KO him.  He takes PIka out and that was that.

1-0

Round 2: Sneeze Lock vs. Raindance
This one was against my friend, Mike. I crushed him at the league
before, maybe I can pull it off again. I won the flip, all he had was
Squirtle. Lucky I had Sneasel and a Darkness.  Fury Swiped 'em for an amazing
40. Wish I had a Pluspower.  He goes and Oaks. He puts down Totodile and
another Squirtle. He Scoops up Squirtle and puts out totodile. He does some
attack, I don't remember, and it does 10.  I Oak and attach Darkness. It ends
up being a slaughter house for little basic Pokemon.

2-0

Sneeze Lock vs. Hand Denial Deck
He wins the flip. He Rocket Traps me twice, working both times. Uh oh,
only one card in my hand. All I have is a darkness energy.  He has...Ditto!
Plus, two Dittos on the bench! Thank God I don't have Sneasel out.
Thankfully I have Psyduck out.  He fury swipes me for 20.  I then draw my
savior, Prof. Oak! I charge up Sneasel on my bench, Oak and play Slowpokes.
Then I play Ditto and Scoop Up Psyduck. I bring out my Ditto so he can't do a
thing. Then I realized, I can't win! My Sneasel is my main attacker and will
be crushed by Ditto.  But I decided to play it out, see how I do.  I fully
charge up Sneasel, easily kill his Ditto, then he sends out the other, and
attaches a....Fire Energy?  Then I realize he doesn't know the DCE+Ditto
Trick! Geez, how can he not know that? He Swipes me, then I kill him.
One more to go! He brings out his last Ditto and attaches a water energy.
Then he swipes me again and I kill him with Beat Up for the win.

3-0

Sneeze Lock vs. Haymaker
He had mostly Mewtwo's. All I remember is Sneasel completely
destroying his MP Mewtwo's.

4-0

There were about 6 kids left so now things got harder.

Sneeze Lock vs. ?(A very wierd deck)
I had Sneasel out, he had Annon D and J out.  Japanese!?  I told the
judge, and disqualified him on the spot. Well, that's not how I wanted to win
this game, but a win is a win.

5-0

Sneeze Lock vs. TR Zapdos Deck(Maybe a Trapper)
I don't quite remember this match very well, but I remember it was
very close with his Zappy's killing my Ditto's.  I did win, though very close.

6-0

Sneeze Lock vs. Lock Deck
It's just down to me and him. We have pretty much the same sort of decks, and
one of us will win.  The game was mostly like me KOing his Pokemon and him
just KOing me back.  I held up a strong front with Sneasel's and Slowkings,
but he was almost reflecting back what I was doing. It came down to my
Sneasel, 20 HP left, and his Scyther, 70 HP still intact.   It only had 1
Darkness Energy on it, but I had a bench with 3 Slowkings, 1 Slowpoke, and a
10 HP Ditto.  I needed a Darkness or Rainbow Energy.  Luckily, I had
Itemfinder. I got my Comp Search from the discard, then used my last 2 cards
for the Search. I found a Rainbow Energy, attached it, did the 10, and KOed
him for the win!

7-0

I ended up winning a Birthday Pikachu, and 5 Neo Boosters.

Now time for Props and Slops
