Suck It Up

Ok, Last week I lost so I knew I had to
make up for it so I started making my deck as soon as I was finished. I
had a wide choice... I could either play stall, Raindance, or Haymaker
but I wanted to try something Ive never done and went for a Sponge deck. It
was quite fast and with the wide variety of that let me discard I knew I
couldnt go wrong. Beings the metagame is full of energy removal I knew
that with that spong would be unstoppable. So here's the deck:

4x Professor Oak (good for getting energy
into discard pile)

I got there early so I could get some good
trading in. I got two meganium's 2 Surges Electabuzz and some other good
stuff. I also got to test my deck. Wooh it was awesome.
Round 1
S.I.U. V.S. Haymaker
He saw who he was playing and was mad. His
deck was really good but he didnt have many strong pokemon. It was all fast
basics that could be KO'ed by almost any pokemone. But his main card was
Riachu Rocket I think. Hes a nasty little bugger.
He get no basic and I draw the 2. I get 3
chansey 1 mewtwo 1 oak and 2 psychic 1 electric and 1 DCE. I play chansey as
my active. Four turns past. I empty my hand. Oak. This was quick I remember by
like tenth turn I had 5 cards left. But a pumped mewtwo chansey and
zapdos on my bench with another pumped chansey out. I double edge for the win.
Round two
I get the by so i go skateboard for about
half an hour.
Round three.
hot hot hot is what he called it...
It was really crappy. He got a fossil
magmar and a fossil of something. I get zapdos mewtwo chansey 3 energy and an
oak. I empty my hand attach to zapdos and oak. I plasma. He smoke screens. I
plasma and flip heads. He retreats brings out fossil of something. I plasma he
brings out magmar smog. I plasma twice for the win. I felt really bad because
I hate winning like that. So after the tournement I built his deck for next
week and we traded for some awesome stuff.
Finals
Unity
He uses psychic pokemon. he gets movie
promo mewtwo on the bench. Base alakazam sabrinas alakazam base kadabra a
mew on the bench and switches around damge counters then uses recove to get
rid of them all. He couldnt handle the second turn Wiggly Tuff.
Same thing except he only gets abras and
mewtwo. I used double edge with a gold berry then did it again for the win. I
felt really bad. But happy I won.
Propz and Slopz
Propz to:
my last battle against Adam. He rain the
status change deck two weeks ago for making an awesome combo like he did.
to the little kids who spend all their
money to buy cards and then just trade me all the good cards they have.
Slopz to:
The owner for giving me a pokemon shirt
that wouldnt have fit me when I was 5. im 6,0 at age 14.
The promos he gave me because I got another
2 mews which makes 11.
To the trainers in neo. Half of them are
pointless.
