Hello!  I am doing a Killer Deck report for a Pokémon
League.  There was about 35 to 40
people there. Here is my deck, the "Call of the
Night"!
"Call of the Night" V.1.0
1 Misty's Duel
Explanation: Well, I put this card in for fun, since
nobody plays an Architype at my Pokémon
League.
1 Pokémon Breeder
E: This card is used for getting up Sabrina's Gengar.
3 Nightly Garbage Run
E: This card needs no explanation.
4 Bill
E: See above.
3 Professor Oak
E: See above.
3 Computer Search
E: My deck wouldn't work that well without this card.
3 Rocket's Sneak Attack
E: I love RSA!  It gets rid of nasty Gyms!
3 PlusPower
E: This gets me over many obsticles, including
Kangaskhan.
1 The Rocket's Trap
E: I just got this, and I love its power.
4 Sabrina's Ghastly
E: Sabrina's Gengar's basic form.  Its OK until Gym
Challenge comes out.
2 Sabrina's Haunter
E: This card one me a game one, during its two weeks
of playtesting.
2 Sabrina's Gengar
E: Call of the Night is AWESOME!  I can't belive no
decks were build around this!
2 (P3) Mewtwo
E: Do I really need to explain?
3 Scyther
E: See above.
2 Ditto
E: See above.
3 Chansey
E: Belongs in every deck ever.
1 (P) Eevee
E: He is quick hitter, just for special occasions.
16 Psychic Energy
4 Double Colorless Energy

Enough with the deck.  Time for the matches! I
playtested this deck for two weeks, making
sure it had the right stuff.

Battle One: "Call of the Night" VS. A Teenager with
Erika Deck Modified
OK, this match started good.  A Scyther, Mewtwo and
Sabrina's Ghastly.  I went first.  He
had Erika's Oddish out, with a Weedle on his bench
along with a Erika's Bellsprout.  I attached
an energy to Scyther and passed.  He used Blot and
passed.  I had built up Scyther and and
finished off Erika's Oddish.  After killing Scyther, I
sent out Ditto and used Sporadic Sponging.
Ditto finally finished off Erika's Oddish.  A Weedle
finished off my Ditto, then Mewtwo came out.
I used Energy Absorption, and he used Poison Sting,
getting tails.  I finished of Weedle then he
sent out his Energy-less Erika's Weepinbell.  In two
turns, I won the game.

Wins 1 Loss 0

Between Matches-
I did some trading, got a Computer Error.  I had
traded for a Erika's Victreebel and
Rainbow Energy.  I was happy.  My friend Brandon
didn't come, so I couldn't include him in the
report. Sorry!

Battle Two: "Call of the Night" VS. A Teen with Rain
Dance
Dang!  I was wrong about the "No-Architype" thing, so
I was kinda angry.  He started with
Squirtle and (P) Articuno on his bench.  I had active
Scyther and benched S. Ghastly and Eevee.
I built up Scyther and attacked, while slowly knockout
his Pokémon.  Eventually, Blastoise KO'ed
Scyther and Ditto cleaned Blastoise.  By then 2 S.
Haunters were ready.  He brought out his
Articuno and it killed Ditto.  S. Haunter KO's
Articuno and finally I finished off the rest of
his Pokémon with S. Gengar.

Wins 2 Loss 0

Between Matches-
I did a ton of trading, got TM 01.  Finally, I
offered 3 Holofoils, 2 Japanese Rares, a
bunch of Gym Heroes Commons and Uncommons.  The dude
traded me a Cool Porygon!  I was so happy
and overjoyed.  I traded with the Gym Leader, and I
faced my next opponent.  BTW, my Granny came
up there with my little brother and three Gym Heroes
boosters.  I got S. Venomoth

Battle Three: "Call of the Night" VS. Chris with
"Erika and Mewtwo"
Ack!  He was one of the best there.  He was friendly
though.  He started with E. Oddish
(does the Erika's Oddish rampage end?!?) and Mewtwo.
I started with 2 Dittos.  Chris went first
and did Blot. I added a DCE and used Sporadic Sponging
and it worked!  After 2 turns, he had a
E. Gloom out there and I was toast.  He killed 2 S.
Ghastly's, two Dittos, and the Pokémon Leauge
was over.  I lost and we shaked hands.

Wins 2 Loss 1

End of the Report-
I had a great week, and had lots of fun.  The matches
were challenging and tought.  I had
earned my goal of TM 01.  Dustin didn't mess around
with me this week, so I was happy.
