      Hello, SuperSmasher returns. I normally play at Books-A-Million on Broad St. in Richmond, VA but their Poke'mon League event hours(5pm-7pm) have left me no choice but to join the League event at Total Access Games for a little while. In my reports, I may still be going to Books-A-Million, but rarely. Anyway, now that you've read that, I'm going to say something about my deck. Normally, I play with my invincible Torture Chamber Haymaker deck(which can be found in the August Reports), but I decided to see how well a RainDance variant would do in my hands. Here's my deck:
Drowning RainDance
Poke'mon(17):
4 Squirtle(Team Rocket)
3 Wartortle(Base Set)
2 Blastoise(Base Set)
2 Articuno(Fossil)
1 Mantine(Neo Base Set)(See translations below)
2 Lapras(1 Fossil, 1 Southern Islands Promo)(For Southern Islands, see translations)
3 Diglett(Team Rocket)
Trainers(19):
1 Poke'mon Breeder
3 Professor Oak
4 Bill
2 Gambler
1 Mr. Fuji
1 Goop Gas Attack
2 ItemFinder
2 Gust of Wind
1 Poke'mon Trader
2 Computer Search
Energy(24):
1 Fighting Energy
3 Rainbow Energy
20 Water Energy
And now for the translations:
Basic Poke'mon
    Lapras            70 HP
C:Soft Song
Remove 2 damage counters from Lapras and the Defending Poke'mon and the Defending Poke'mon is now Asleep.
WW: Ice Beam 20
Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Poke'mon is now Paralyzed.
Weakness:L (no resistance)  Retreat Cost:C

Basic Poke'mon
   Mantine     60 HP
WW: Swaying Swim 20
Flip a coin. If heads, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Mantine during your opponent's next turn.
Weakness:L Resistance:F -30 Retreat Cost:C
    Okay, I think all of you are wondering why a RainDance variant(which needs at least 24 Water Energy to your opinion) is doing with 20. That's why I have Rainbow Energy. It's a deciding card. I either use it to power the Digletts(which are there to help Articuno destroy the Bench and to back up Lightning Weakness since they resist Lightning) or to power Water-types. I only put in 1 Fighting Energy for that reason. You can play the deck like a pro once you learn how it works. It uses the SI Lapras and Mantine to slow the game down and then once I have my large Water-types powered(and Digletts), it's clobberin' time! Here are the matches:

Round 1: My Drowning RainDance vs. Sean's Grass deck
    Sean was very arrogant and acted a lot tougher than he was. He had the same number of badges as me(2) and his deck had been undefeated for awhile. He didn't know half the rules, though. I had played him earlier today with my Torture Chamber Haymaker and I won because he cheated(I saw him play 5 Bills.) I told him it was illegal, but he didn't care and was called down for cheating. He wanted a rematch because he didn't think it was fair, so I accepted. However, his deck was not even close to matching my Drowning RainDance. I decided that's the deck I should use on him. I started with Lapras(Fossil) and he started with an Oddish(Jungle). He Stun Spored me into paralysis. I attached a Water Energy to Lapras but that did no good because he Energy-Removed me. He Stun Spored me again but didn't paralyze me. I Water Gunned him for 10 damage. He retreated and promoted Nidoran Male as his Active. He used Horn Hazard and was successful. I attached another Water Energy and evolved the Squirtle on my bench into Wartortle and used Confuse Ray in a desperate attempt to confuse him, but was unsuccessful. He used Horn Hazard and succeeded in tearing me down to 10 HP left. I evolved Wartortle into Blastoise and RainDanced. I figured I shouldn't waste Energy on Lapras since it was about to get Knocked Out. I used Water Gun and reduced his HP to 10. He used Horn Hazard and was unsuccessful. I used Water Gun and KOed Nidoran Male. He unleashed Dratini(Base Set). Why people use the Base Set Dratini so much in Total Access Games when they could use the Rocket Dratini I don't know, because it's a weakling. However, I love scoring an easy Knockout against it. He didn't even bother attacking, I attached the final Energy and Water Gunned Dratini. He retreated and promoted Bulbasaur(who he tried to evolve the turn he played it, but was told it was illegal. He also tried to discard a Nidorino from his hand any time he wanted, but was also told it was illegal. After arguing with him for a minute or 2, we found out the truth.) I Water Gunned Bulbasaur. He evolved into Ivysaur and removed my Energy with an Energy removal. I Water Gunned him again for 20 damage this time. He evolved into Venusaur and Energy-Transed Energy from his other Poke'mon to Venusaur. I Water Gunned for 30 after attaching another energy and he did nothing. I finally Water Gunned him again and beat his Venusaur. He promoted a Nidoran Male uncharged because he Energy Transed its only Energy to Venusaur. I easily Water Gunned his Nidoran Male to defeat. At this point, he was very overwhelmed by the pressure my deck was putting on him. He sent out an Oddish(Jungle), uncharged because he Energy-Transed his only Energy on Oddish to Venusaur. He did nothing except put some Poke'mon on his Bench. I was about to make my next move when he was so overwhelmed that he flatly forfeited because he had a headache, making me the victor. He was very angry that I beat him and from time to time throughout the day tried to get me mad. All I can say is, that's what you get for being cocky.
Wins:1 Losses:0

 Round 2: My Drowning RainDance vs. ???'s Tough Basic Poke'mon Deck
     I played this kid and he put up a pretty good fight. I started with a Squirtle and he started with a Ditto(Fossil). I attached an Energy. He powered up an Oddish(Jungle) on his bench with a Grass Energy. I evolved into Wartortle and used Withdraw and got heads! He did nothing but power his Bench. I evolved into Blastoise and initiated RainDance and powered Blastoise, an Articuno I had on my Bench, a Squirtle, Mantine, and another Wartortle with 1 out of 3 Energy it needed. Ditto had become Blastoise now that this evolution had occurred. I didn't KO Ditto yet. I Gusted out his Jungle Oddish and Hydro Pumped it for 60 damage(since Blastoise was all fired up). I took my prize and he sent out Ditto again. He did nothing. I Gusted out his Bulbasaur with my 2nd and final Gust of Wind and Hydro Pumped it for 60. He only had Ditto left that couldn't Hydro Pump. I Hydro Pumped Ditto. He knew that even retreating Ditto wouldn't save it from Blastoise. He left Ditto to be KOed. I used Hydro Pump and KOed Ditto. He unleashed a Bulbasaur, knowing now any chance he had of winning was gone. I used Hydro Pump and won the game because he had no Bench.
Wins:2 Losses:0
