OK, I don't like playing haymaker but I wanted to try
it to see how it would do. I usually play my Wiggly,
which I had orginally built before I found it was
played, ect. I actually liked what I played.

OK, let me just say why some things are in here, since
most of it should be simple enough. Also, for those
who don't know the archtype "Haymaker" Strategy, it is
simple- Quickly over-ride the opponent with quick
strong damage from quick, strong basics, while you
load up on trainers from the drawing/searching to keep
the opponent from doing anything. The
drawing/searching and basics only allow for the
absence of so much energy, along with NGR. For the
cards in my deck, I have the 1 Ditto for metagame
against MP Mewtwo and Wigglytuff. It could be replaced
with Erika's Dratini, but today I decided with Ditto.
The lone Challenge is because I can fill up my bench
with strong basics, it also benifets Wavemakers, but
not always, as they play pokemon when they get them
and when they don't I won't play it. Other than that,
it re-places a Bill. Next would be the lone Rocket's
Trap, I wanted another RSA, but didn't have 1. Eiher
way, I sub in 3 RSA vs. Trainer heavy decks, and
Rocket's Trap vs. decks that aren't. The energy is low
and pokemon are low, but you should understand why.

Round 1 vs. Grass Deck
Match 1
This kid was little, and had some nice cards, but
startegy was not very good. He has learned on his own
and is little though, so he was good for who he was.
Not much explanation needed, I got a bad hand but
recovered like turn 6, which is terrible, but after
that, I oaked a couple, and it just rode smoothly
after that.
1-0
Match 2
The same thing, this time I started good but he
changed his deck to Psychic. I won fairly quick, and
just sat around for a while watchin others.
2-0, 1 Win

Round 2 vs. Grass/Fire Deck
Match 1
This kid was older an a bit more experienced, but his
deck was a bit weaker. He put a challenge vs. my bad
hand draw, but I came back quickly after each
disrupting move and just whittled the prizes down, but
very slowly. A pretty good match.
3-0
Match 2
Same thing, this time he actually got a couple of
prizes. I had a worse start, but like always, slowly
recovered. This kid was pretty good stratgey wise,
probably would have placed 3rd if I wasn't their.
4-0, 2 Wins

Round 3 vs. Wavemaker
Match 1
OK, the others all got eliminated 1 way or another,
and it came to us. He was about as almost as good as
me deck and stratgey wise. The first game came really
close, I had an OK hand but Mulliganned once, giving
him an advantage. We played close the whole game, but
he got many search engines and I got a Bill then an
Oak. I had nothing, and we were colse on prizes the
whole time, then I started having a short on energy,
then basics. He ended up beating me by killing all my
benched pokemon, he was only up by 1 prize though.
4-1
Match 2
OK, thsi time, he mulliganned. I didn't get nay good
cards from this, but it helped to cut through my deck.
In the beginning, I ahd an OK start to his, but later,
I drew enough drawing cards, my damage was as good,
but I overpowered him with my disruptiveness. I won by
like 2-3 prizes this game.
5-1
Match 3
It was past like 45 minutes, we had to just call it a
tie. I don't know who would have won, he was great
competition. I really enjoyed this battle, this was
probably teh best one I have every played, because I
gave these almost my all, though I amde a few mistakes
by playing fast because I wanted to hurry up.

I was givin a choice as to my prize, and choose a
magic product. At first, it was gonna be a booster,
then a pre-con, then he said he was getting in new
Invasion in a couple days, and said I could get a new
one next week. I trust him, he is pretty cool. I do
believe he sort of likes me, he is a somewhat old-guy
that is pretty cool, we were talkin for like an hour.
I am a guy, so don't get any of the wrong thoughts.
Anyways, I had fun, I don't know what teh other kid
got, but I don't know if it was as much as mine. The
entry fee was a mere dollar. Oh yeah, for fix ups, I
don't believe I need any, except I am gonna get
another RSA and do some subbing of 3 RSA to 3 Rokcet's
Trap (when I get another of those as well), and the
subbing of Ditto and Erika's Dratini. I do fix up
other people decks amateurly myself. If you wanna get
advice, just talk, ect. or get a deck fix, send em my
way.

Props

Anyway, anyone wanting to copy off my deck can, as
long as they notify me (like anyone wants to play my
deck). Also, for the choices of pokemon, Chan takes
out Buzz and Wiggly's, Electabuzz is good and takes
out Raindance, Scyther defends vs. Fighting, and
Ditto/Erika's Dratini for any metagaming needed. This
is Kazer, signing out.
