Hello Everyone!!!!
This is my first killer deck report I'v ever gotten around to doing!
In my area Archetypes are popular so I decided to make a deck which could
beat them all!!!
"Anti-Everything!!"

4 Erica Dratini (too bad Hitmonchan/Mewtwo)
3 Areodactyl ("No, You can't play your Evolution."

3 Electabuzz ( good all-round poke. Bye, Bye Blastoise.)

4 Mysterious Fossil (For Areo.)

OK.... on to the tournament!!!!
I got there
early to make sure any one on the waiting list
wouldn't take my spot. I think I was there too early because no one was there
except 4 people and Kristen, Melissa and Vartan(who work here).It was now
10:30 a.m., the tourney in 30 min. and only 1/3 the people were here. That
quickly changed at 11 when the manager, Clara got there, as the world seemed
to wake up and everyone else piled in. This pre release was a lot like the
Gym heroes one. We all were allowed to use our 1 deck which we could modify
with 2 challenge boosters. Then you had to play everyone else once. You win,
2 points. You lose, 1 point.
Top 4 go to the finals.
I receive my packs.........
1st pack
Koga's Pidgyotto.......this doesn't help me.......
2nd pack

Rockets Mewtwo(!!!!).............SWEET!!!!!!!...........but doesn't help with
no psy energy.........
Oh Well.....on to the matches.........

Water Fighting Deck
Short battle.
He had two Magikarps
me Electabuzz

Round 2 VS. Nathan
Raindance
I got a bad hand...all I had was Scyther, and 2 Fossil.
I go first lightning on active scyther to his 2 articono.I pass
He plays energy removal water on artocono.
My turn I draw MORE ENERGY (AHHH)
he energy removes me. Water on artocuno.
I draw another fossil
He freeze dry's with perils.
I draw more energy.
He blizzards with heads wiping everything out.......

(this was only the begging of my bad luck)
Round 3 VS. Haskel
Haymaker
This was a close match but his magmars kept killing my
scythers and
poisoning my dratinis and his hitonchans killed my electabuzzs

Round 4 VS. Brian
Wigglytuff
I thought I had him from the first turn. He had Jigglys
Syther and Buzz.
Me Dratini, Scyther, M. Fossil. I first turn Lassed him to get rid of his
annoying trainers and on my next turn evolved Areodactyl to prevent Wiggly. I
was down to my last prize when he Gusted my Areo and K.O.ed it with scyther.
Which made way for Wiggly who then destroyed the rest of my Pokemon.
(sad)

I was really down in the dumps now, I had never done this bad before.
Round 4 VS. Grant
Old Fashion Haymaker
This was the last round before lunch break. Grant is a friend
of
William....the only one I fear (other than Jack Savage). Note: Jack
doesn't
go here.
This match was easier than I expected........By continually potioning and
retreating dratini, I was able to KO Hitmonchan, Electabuzz and Scyther.
(happy!)

I finally broke my losing streak!!!!!!!
We broke for lunch.....
I had Subway and sat with Vartan,Matthew B., Brian and his sister Michelle.
When we got back and sat down, Clara informed us all you could play people
you already played..............I promised Michelle I would play her
so.........
Round 5 VS. Michelle
Psi Wiggly
My dratini vs. her M. Mewtwo and Jiggly. I Billed a few times played a m.
fossil, DCE on Dratini,tail strike, heads, 20.
She plays psy energy on Jiggly, pass.
I evolve to Areo. DCE on it, Pluspower,Head, KO Mewtwo.
Jigglypuff, energy, Lullaby.
I get heads, retreat, send out Areo, energy, Wing Attack for 60.....she had
no bench
She was also on a losing streak, so I felt bad about beating her........

Chelsea, my cousin, finally gets here, and we get her signed up...
I lent her my "Crazy Tentacool" deck to play with....its strategy is
to use
the rare Misty tentacool to get all your tentacools and -crules, evolve, then
attack with Wigglytuff.........and it works vary well. Though it was
impossible for her to get enough points to get to the finals, she still got 2
free boosters.
In her boosters she got: Misty's wish and Koga's Ditto.
William needed some one to play so I played him.........(gulp)
Round 7 VS. William
William Hay
I was nervous this match since William's skill matched
mine........
The match was long...........nether of us seemed to be ahead the entire match.
When I finally got a Dratini against his hitmonchan, he informed me that if
he played a pluspower he could do 20 damage........this knowledge courtesy of
you Pojo...
Oh well it came down to the wire. But he got a gust of wind KOing my Scyther
with Magmar.........

I don't remember this match too well but I think my
Electabuzz did most
of the work........(sorry)

Round 9 VS. Hope
"Don't let the Bed Bugs Bite!!!!"
I was getting a little frantic know.............OK I was
almost
crazy...........I HAD to get to the finals!!!!!!!
I played my friend Hope. She had an Interesting deck using TR. Drowsy,
Snorlax (my favorite Pokemon!!!!) and Wigglytuff.
I had to show no mercy since time was running out.... Got out Areo. early and
used him to take care of her Colorless pokemon and Dratini took care of psy
pokemon.

Round10 VS. Chelsea
Crazy Tentacool
I had 15 min to finish all my 13 battles, so I sent out
Electabuzz and
had Jellyfish sushi.....

I was super hyper and frantic so the next 3 rounds are VERY BLURRY.........
Round 11 VS. Daniel

I did everything so fast the only thing I remeber was winnig.........(sorry)

Psy and lightning deck
Blurr.......My Areo. took care of his 2 pikachu and dratini

Another frantic blurr..............I saw Dark Machoke who
fell to

WHEW!!!!!!! I finished just as they called us for our round papers......
My total score was 22.
They went threw them.......and anounsed......

After a deck cheak.......we drew names out of a hat to se who wold play
who.......

We were very nervious........
In this battle my own stratigy was used aginst me......he had Ericas
dratini!!!!!!!
after it KOd an Electabuzz I KOd with Areo. who he KOd with Scyther.....
We extchanged prizes for a while till he destroued my poke with
wiggly.........

Amazingly enough, nathan beat william......
I might not get 2nd or 1st but I could still get 3rd or 4th!!!!!!
Round for 3rd Vs William
I almost won but the same thing happened in our other round
and Gusts of winds my Scyther who gets smogged.............
I lost............. But we both got 4 Boosters
I got: Brock's Ninetales, Giovani's Macchamp, Subrena's Gengar and Lt.
Surge's Joltion.
Nathan ended up decking himself......Brian won!!!!
I may not have won but as in that pokemon episode I watched that morning,
losing is important. I learned that now.....But I had a lot a FUN, which
IS
the most important thing about the Pokemon CCG!!!!!!!!! which alot of people
have unfotonily forgot......
As I left Brian gave me a Subrina's Golduck!!!!! THANKS BRIAN!!!!!!
