My friend Ryan and I went to the gym challenge tournement at
wizards of the coast. first prize was 12 booster packs, and second place at 8.
The style was a free for all, you battled as many people as you
could, and then whoever had the most points won the tournement.
Here is my deck. this is with prop. 15, so dont think i am
crazy. thanx

I had about 25 rounds, so i will tell about a few of them.
1st round vs. erikas deck
i got the worst starting hand possible. he soon got a loaded
erikas dragonair vs. my scyther. i didnt draw any oaks or comp searches till
the last 3/4 of the game. i couldnt get any energy either only pokemon. erikas
dragonair took out my pokemon 1 by 1. i was sooo frustrated. i lost that
match.
Round 2 vs old guy with wiggly hitmonchan and dark muk
i got a good hand this time, and he had only one basic pokemon
to my chansey and benched scyther, with two dce's the game was over.
Round 3. vs. venusaur trans deck.
i got a wiggly out turn two with a full bench, guess what
happened.?
round 4. vs ninetales deck
this deck was a very experienced ninetales deck, and one of my
hardest matches. i started with a decient hand and got wiggly out pretty fast
to hurt magmars and stuff, while he got ninetales ready to kill me. but i was
loading up chansey, my new favorite pokemon, i double edged his ninetales, and
rocket scyther kept things on the upside. i won.
i ended up winning the tournement, and my friend ryan got
second with his ninetales deck.it was a very fun day, and we really enjoyed
playing. leaving the tourney, i had 16 booster packs, that were first edition
gym challenge.
